Yeah, I guess this is we'll all stop scamming everyone by selling them what they think is a bag of armor and really a bag of melons.
But what am I going to do with all those melons I have left over...
But let me just say this.. The way I see it, this is part of the upcomming merchant nerf.. Everyone is exploiting vendors by using them as storage.. The upcomming nerf is meant to keep people from storing so much stuff on vendors.. Problem is if they don't remove the ability to put things in there with bags, then the upcomming vendor nerf only hurts actual merchants, and those that use vendors as storage aren't really all that hurt by it because they can just put everything in bags, and still store a LOT of stuff... So, what is the answer? Instead of giving us even one tiny little break, and getting rid of vendors that people have no business having, they nerf us even more.. This is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous.. Ok.. going to cool off and shut up now..
OK, first a quick rant... I personally love this game but lately I have seen several of my in-game friends leave due to bugs... I can't believe they spent the time to "fix" this.
Now, I know that using vendors as storage is a problem, but this hurts more legit vendors than those who just use them for storage. As a smuggler I've done bulk slicing for smiths. My best slicing relationship was with an armorsmith from Germany (I'm West Coast), so we didn't meet up all that often. He was able to offer packs and crates on my vendor then I could slice them and offer to his vendor in packs.
Perhaps packs with contents could still be offered to vendors. Also, perhaps they could just lower the time for packs with contents from 30 days to 5. There will always be those who find ways to abuse the systems, but this just kills everyone who does custom orders and work for people who can't meet up in-game.

Here's what they are doing. They are saying vendors can hold 150 items soon, with no bags. I'll use armorsmiths for my example. They can place 3000 suits now, no problem. That will be reduced to 150 suits, and since you can't place them in bags....15 suits or so.
Lets take a close look at this....unlimited suits of armor on 1 vendor......to 15 suits on 1 vendor.
If I was an armorsmith I would quit the game over this.
