Edit: Our point made it across, packs will only have a warning/disclaimer now...rather than not being able to use em.

Same here, it will make it almost impossible to easily stock armor, or do special orders.

it isnt just this issue....

its the way SOE keeps cutting us and pouring salt in the wounds...it just keep building up

vehicle paint lasting 2 days

vehicle warping/poofing

adding RARE schematics which can be mass produced by the 1000s

the basic statement that Droids will always be crappy

the bag issue on vendors

the coming vendor nerf

and the crafter experimentattion changes

it just is all sucking what little was left to keep many here from an already dying game....

we are paying a PREMIUM PRICE, $16 a month.....I have yet to see a premium game or service.

I'm thinking about leaving for many reasons, but this will further push me in that direction.

It's not the change itself, so much as what it represents. If they bothered putting any time into developing new merchant tools in the first place, we wouldn't need to use packs! If they'd let us sell items together in lots we could use that to sell our outfits, sets of armor, sets of components, or whatever else, we wouldn't want to hide our products in bags instead. If they had ever put in the special order vendor that so many have asked for over the months, we wouldn't need to use packs to do that either.

Instead, they're tossing in another nerf before giving us the systems (or even a timetable on the systems) to replace it.

Even if I was still enthusiastic about this game, most of my friends are getting fed up and leaving. And this game would be no fun at this point without those people... so I'm not sure how much longer I'll stick even if they change their mind about the pack thing.

I'll quit if this goes through, no doubt about it. Limited vendor/storage space limits my playtime because all I do is make armor. It won't be worth it to play with this change.

Its all seemingly about nerfing the economy and babying their horrible database which has been an issue since launch.

All it will take is EQ2 or WoW to kill this game. And I'm leaning toward to WoW, and never, EVER buying a Sony product again.

Haveing not the option to sell sets in a bag will hurt the merchant much especialy the ones selling buffs and armor. No personal orders can be made and sold anylonger too. when there is a problem with to many items remove all vendors from persons that have not the skill to hold them. its hard why i should keep my vendors when i give up the skill, why cant i have my weapon certifcations from the skills i had onces. why cant i use a flamer as an ex commando but can use my vendors when i have gave up the skills?

I probably won't be leaving due to this bug, but when another good mmorpg comes out (looking forward to WOW) i'm gone unless the lack of dev attention in general is completely erradicated. This is a prime example of what's wrong with this game.

Hopefully it doesn't store itself halfway there or disappear from your inventory.

This will effect alot more then just the crafting community. Although the crafting community will take a HUGE hit from this, so will your everyday players. It seems like many crafters are quitting the game because of this, which will leave barelly anyone to craft anything. Sure new ones will come, but they will not be as experienced or even as dedicated do to this nerf. If there is no place to get supplies because people get fed up with sitting at their vendor for 8 hours just to have a sale, many people will quit. Everyone with no armor, weapons, clothes, or meds would be a sad, sad game. So the actual "vendor nerf" may not cause me to quit, but the chain reaction of crafters quitting, and low supplies will definetally affect my decision.

Hmm... I can say for sure that if it goes through I will no longer do custom orders... More then likely when the vendor nerf comes, that will be the last thing to push me to give up crafting (especially if they actually have the gall to nerf us before fixing the exploit of using vendors after dropping merchant).. And, if I'm not a crafter, and I'm not a merchant, I'm not an SWG player..
