Thanks for the acknowledgement /blush

Anything I can do to help as this really is a pleasure to use and a huge timesaver for merchants out there. No matter how serious or casual.

It is especially good now with the extra window popups from the metrics tabs. Very useful to see what's selling quickly and who to etc.

Not to mention the rating system quickly highlighting your loyal customers... and using a combination of the filter from the main page, you can finely target your mailshots if you use them!

I have found it stops processing after mails with a webaddress on the item and one other thing that I have mailed to you as a bug report.

Keep up the good work!

One feature request, on the metrics page where you click on items.. please could it also have a column showing who bought the item? Thanks

New version available on the website at: http://www.geocities.com/illiya_darklight/

There will be more download options available (yes, I hate Geocities, too). Look here for updates as to download locations.

This version fixes the European date bug, adds in the option to select a specific SWG Live directory rather than it finding it for you (so you can run the program on another machine and use a network share to get to your live directory), and expands the 'Metrics' option of being able to double-click on a customer to get their list to all of the metrics views.

Thank you for your continued support, e-mails, bug reports and feature requests. Keep it up!

Feature requests:

  • switchable time configuration: AM/PM or 24h format

  • sum of total credits in all windows

  • some form of weekday statistics, and hourly statistics to see if there are any trends as to when customer visits the shop

  • eventually I would like to see: yearly, monthly, weekly, and dailygraphs be generated, and savableas pictures (but this is probably a long time into the future)

One thing that'd be kinda nice from my perspective is if you could track the 30 day "didn't sell" vendor expiration e-mails. For me, it'd be nice to have compiled data over time on that, to get a quick picture of what *isn't* selling.

Maybe track "bank tip" e-mails too? In general, it might be nice to track more data on the "cost" side, and then compare costs vs. revenues, or profit.

These are great suggestions, guys. Keep it up.

Graphing is in the picture for the future, along with HTML exports. I need to make sure all the bugs are tackled, first ... some of which are rather odd, like people putting URLs in the names of their items (grumble), or items with multiple lines (grumble, grumble). I think I've got an idea for a fix, though, and based upon the errors I've been getting, I know just where in the code to add a little bit that will tell you when a mail fails (but continue loading other mails), and give you the number of the mail so you can pull it out and, hopefully, send it to me for further debugging.

However, I wanted to touch on the resource seperation suggestion. Not everyone sells resources, or even items that are sold in multiples, so doing something like that would add a bunch of non-essential data for people like me. I think in this instance, you may just have to do the bit of math yourself.

Oh, and another wish:

separate out the number of units of a resource in a separate column, and calculate the cpu price

First let me say you've got a great program here, I love using it to track my monthly sales, and it's a huge boon.

One thing I'd love to see is both sales and expenses totaled up, perhaps with a way to select/unselect certain expenses so you could isolate your business costs completely?

I'd just be happy with the totaling up too, if the other part of the request is too cumbersome.

Hey, how about this?

WHen we Archive our mails, what if the program would convert the name of the .mail file into one with decoded info? Here is a sample mail (the names of the innocent have been changed to protect the innocent)..

148097947
SWG.Testboring.auctioner
Vendor Sale Complete
TIMESTAMP: 1079730071
Vendor:PowerRangers has sold 62% Health/14%Max Dmg/82%Min Dmg - Melee Weapon Kit of Refining 10 to Jhoalo Balbano for 5050112 credits.
The sale took place at EasternPathetic Grass Pennisula, on Hoth.

So when this mail gets archived, the name of the file becomes customized through a set of options in the cofiguration. I could have the program name the file after the Vendor and the date code (decoded to look normal), which would be "PowerRangers Jan 16, 2006.mail". Or maybe the name of the item and the date, or even the Subject of the email ("Vendor Sale COmplete").

THis would make it a little easier to sort the mails and to find a specific mail to delete later on. How about the ability to delete the .mail file from inside the game? Open a context menu and choose "delete"?

I look forward to the next version!

Hi there, Nice looking program, but I can't get it to do much. I am running WinXP Pro and when I start the program I get and an error that says the date format is invalid, I am in Canada.

Once in the program, ( I can just continue) it shows all the email parsed on the first page, but none of the other reports show anything, except the customer ratings, bottom of the 2nd page.

If I put anything in the filters I get the error:
