I don't know why you're not getting the most recent version, please try to download again -- make sure you completely uninstall the previous version before installing the new version. I tested it, and the version I download is v.12.

I love your program and use it all the time.

Feature Request:

Archive Mail: Please convert the archived mail into a csv file that you read back in. Having to reparse the mail in another folder really does not do much good when you have to open , read and convert. It would be faster if it was one flat file.

My Sales: I love this feature but it is not real useful. I can not save it and there are no metrics. I like to be able to export it and get totals. I have a locked container vendor where i basically buy them for 6k each and resell for 10k each. I would like to be able to pull it into a spread sheet and make sure I am selling more than I spending.

Multiple Account Support:

I am an SWG hobbyist and have 7 accts, 4 of which are merchants. I like to be able to have it read from all my mail directories. Right now I run a batch file to move all the files to a directory I created under one account called mail_montlhy. It would be nice if I could identify what vendors belonged to which Character and get a metric of how much each character's vendors is selling. I would also like to see a location Metric. If I have 5 vendors in the Tat Mail and 5 In the naboo mail and another 5 on Dantoine. I want to be able at a glance to see if that location is worth having. Only way to do that now is the manual method.

Thanks and keep up the great work

By the way I had a mail messgage that was broken up into two lines from the bizzare. It broke the parser with an un handled exception. It only happened once. I had to isolate which mail it was and manuall fix the mail by putting it all on one line. Until that mail was repaired I could not open the program.

Feature wish:

* Totals in my sales, and windows that pops up.

* all windows should be savable, or copyable to clipboard.

I have not tried your program yet (however I tried another program which parsed the mail files some time ago; was it you making that program as well?). I saw that european date bug fixed which makes me wonder if my regional setting might be a problem. I am from sweden and we use YYYY-MM-DD date format. Any problems with that (if it is I will change my date setting to us or european)?

But if the problem is with when parsing the mail files then I might be out of luck if dates are stored in your local date format. Not sure if it does (have no mail files here).

Man, this is so totally awesome!!! Great program and has immediately replaced my spreadsheet tracking - THank you!!!!!!!

Here are a couple of features that would help me and maybe a builk of others:

1. A way to input a bulk of data manually.
Since I have been merchant for awhile before finding you and your program, I have a large list of customer data. I ended up mocking up about 300 fake xxx.mail files to mirror this information so that your program would read them in and treat them just like my new sales. This is important because I want my old information on sales and customer lists to be included in your metrics. If there was a way instead to manually enter this information in the program, I think it would have been easier. Or perhaps, import the data from a CSV file or something.

2. A way to edit
Not exactly sure how, but here is why.One of my masters in chef. It is extremely helpful to my customers that I include the food stat in the name of the food, for example "Veghash {+15.7 bonus to creature harv, 13m]". Of course this stat changes the next time I run the food, maybe it is +18 for 15m or whatever.Since they are different names, they show up as two items in the program. Then I have to filter or otherwise manually add up my sales of Veghash by combining all the beghash items. Right now, I go enter each day's emails and delete the stat info off the name so it just reads "Vegash" and so now I get the totals to show up the way I want. Obviously on a heavy sale day this is taking a lot of time.

If there was a way I couldedit this in the program on the fly, that would be great. OR as an alternative, you could establish a rule that anything between a [ and a ] would be ignored by the program. As long as I put all the stat infor between brackets then your program would ignore it and just call it Veghash - which would also accomplish the feat.

Anyway, even without any of the above, you have written the single most greatest tool ever for SWG - even more than character calculators, resource spreadsheets, etc. etc etc.

Woot!!

Great idea. Buit I would prefer adding a new field "Base product" or something that can be used for sorting/grouping. Add a cross-reference table to translate descriptions. With an option to translate if description is identical to corss-reference table or "starts with" (so if you enter Veghash it will translate all descriptions starting with veghash).

Maybe this should be even more general. Have for example free user defined fields for categorizing sales. Then I could have one field for base model (for example T-21) and one for "rifles".

It should use the cross reference table automatically when importing new mails or run separate.

Did not have time to test the program yesterday. My partner (in game) did and he think it is amazing. I am really curious about my total sales lol.

Yes, that is a good add. If I could categorize things, that would make it even more useful. Meaning, My categories would be "Food", "Furniture", "Structures", "Vehicles", etc.
