- I'm a little dissapointed that the #1 issue with merchants is not on this big list of fixes... the stockroom bug. And the #2 issue... and so on. In fact, I don't think any of these three fixes were on the list as being overly important.

- Looks like we will all have to wait at least a few more months before Merchant is worth anything. I think I'll just stop at planetary advertising and invest my skill points in something more worthwhile. If they ever pay more attention to merchants, I'll think about going back.

- So... bye merchant forum! =)

- I wonder if I should be a DE instead?

Yeah I'll definitly be dropping merchent if that's the case. And where's the fix for Advertising? Ad barking is still buggy and so is planetary ad campaign.

Either way, get some one that speaks english as a first language to write your patch notes

Fixed an exploit where you could steal things from vendors
Fixed the max sale price on vendors being the same as the bazaar.
You now have to select "init vendor" from the vendor options after you place your vendor to activate it.

This should be read as:

"Previously there was a bug where vendors were capped at 3k. This defeats the purpose of a vendor and, since it was a bug, we have made attempts to fix that bug by increasing the cap on vendors to it's previously designed higher level."

This is a fix, not a nerf. You're all so jumpy. When Q waves the nerf stick, you'll know it. He states the good things in very short sentences. The bad things have long explanations and apologies and reminders that they want the game to be fun for everyone.

Don't drop your merchant skills! We need you and you're valuable!

I can't believe I forgot about the stock room bug, I have like 30 items trapped in limbo thanks to that!

This is disappointing. None of the issues we put forth on our top 5 are even addressed here, and none of these are issues I was even aware of being issues.

Well, to be fair they did just get our list yesterday.

On the otherhand, they have know about the retrieve issue (as in the lack of being able to do it) for a while. So either it is
1) not high enough on their priority list
2) something they have been trying to fix, but don't have a solution to yet.

I am hoping the answer is (1), becuase if it is (2), that would be more depressing.

Well so long Merchant Class, it was nice knowing you.

The class is broken. Period. I was holding out with the hope that, since it was sooo broken, the problems would be addressed quickly.

The idea of having a correspondent gave me hope. I am all for the community arguing over issues, and one voice shares our ideas with the Devs.

And now, with a great big 'Hey guys! You'll like this! We are fixing things for you', the Devs have told us that the only three things that they are fixing in the next few weeks are issues that I have never seen myself. None of the correspondents issues are mentioned. None of the issues that break this class are mentioned.

OK, they have only just got the list. Please, please, please tell me that is isn't going to be a month before they get around to the next batch of proffesion fixes.

Now I'm going to check the other boards, to see if any class breaking issues have been addressed with other classes.

Adn then I'll stand in the town and spam my advert for my shop as it is the only way to let people know where I am.

Greets

This is stuff that is already coded, been through Q&A and is ready to be pushed to the Test center.

Enough of the whining about "correspondents not working". They just put them in place ... they are just now reading / discussing stuff ... they have probably prioritized the stuff already. I can guarantee you that they have not coded didly ... let alone put it through internal Q&A.

So if your going to quit ... do so and leave the rest of us in peace.

So many folks are just soooooo impatient. Coding isn't like snapping your figures and chewing bubble gum at the same time.

Understand JEDI EXP (exp based on normalized kills)

Master Elite Prof 3,891,000 exp / 4200 exp = 926 Rancors for Master Elite anything
Master LightSaber 15,280,000 exp / 1000 exp = 15280 Rancors for Master LS

"Fixed the max sale price on vendors being the same as the bazaar."

And you call THAT a fix? Sorry I think the rift about your visions of the game and whats actually fun is getting deeper and deeper.

I've looked through the other boards, and they are changing a LOT of stuff in the next couple of weeks.

OK, it is a shame that none of our issues are being addressed yet (and it doesn't take a correspondent to know what is broken, they must be already working on it, so stop with the 'they only just realised that Merchant is broken'), but there is a lot of good stuff going in.

The next worry is if they can't make the odd one or two fixes without breaking something else, what chance do we have that these major fixes will come in smoothly. Let's us all go onto the test server and help them get this right!

And until the fixes go live, we always have the Melon Fix to keep us happy ! lol !

While I agree that its unrealistic to expect that the correspondent lists have had an impact upon whats coming out, I think the point folks are upset about is thatmost of our issues are known issues and have beenaround for awhile. Its not like the correspondent list is full of 'new' things, its stuff that existed in beta and since release and yet we have 3 items, 2 of which I have never experienced, and the third which I think is already in the game (last time I placed my NPC I had to select initialize from the radial menu).
