Thread: All merchants with empty vendors should be shot
Try crafting and keeping a huge stock...
THEN complain. It's not easy to keep a vendor fully stocked 24/7. If you can do it, then return to your swordsmanship or your bounty hunting, and your conception that crafters play simply to serve you, and piss you off when everyone else beats you to thier vendor.
You are sorely mistaken. Having a vendor with items on it is your privelidge, not the crafters obligation.Blame Sony for not having vendor code turn the vendor global advertisement off if the stock is cleared.
/rant off

I can understand why you find it annoying to go out to a vendor and find it empty, but it might not be the merchants fault. Epically with items that are hard to find, with thoughts hard to find items customers have a tendency to hamster when they find them.
Or perhaps it the vendor of a hologrinder who just wand the XP from you coming in to look. (Even more likely if you had to pay an entrance fee)
So, if you come here to help us get a solution to our common problem implemented... Welcome, maybe the devs will make this a priority if enough players put the spotlight on it.
1 is a powerup vendor.
1 is a resource vendor.
1 is a greeting-droid.
they are working and havent init-bugged for 4 days.
ill be damned if i unregister a vendor, only to have it break all the other vendors in my **edit** shop so i lost over 75 vehicles.
I stock every sunday and friday.
deal with it.

I do craft. And I will complain. (not that being a crafter gives you any more right complain than anyone else)
There very few things more annoying then getting out to a registered vendor and finding out that it is empty. And I do blame the crafters/store owners.
I'm a weaponsmith. However, as a weaponsmith, I focus on ranged weapons only. I no longer stock melee weapons or munitions. There are just too many different ones for me to build and stock effectively. However, I make dang sure that I never run out of the ranged weapons that I carry. And if a smuggler buys out of my last 20 laser rifles, I make sure I can re-stock quickly (I keep crates of stock in the back for these occasion).
I feel its better to do a few things well, rather than doing many things poorly.
And I would love to see something like this in the vendor registration page.
-
vendor1 (123) -
vendor2 (64) -
vendor3 (0) -
etc.
