Where are you guys getting this 2 weeks inactivity thing? Did they change it again recently? The last I saw on this they had upped that to like 100 days. There is a two week period after your vendor is empty that will result in your vendor being removed.
Damn straight! I wondered why I lost my vendor Doc! I have a customer ticket in right now and sent an PM to Tiggs (no response yet BTW). I knew they had upped it in a later publish. Anyone have a Clicky to this info? My stuff dropped off my vendor and two weeks later poof! I went to go repost the items and I was like "where did my vendor go?" And the only thing the CSR said was "it is a function of the game". However I did get no e-mail regarding my vendor being inactive. And I reposted everything on my weapons vendors the day after the CU because of the bug where you could not see any stats. Now the funny thing is that my other vendor did not go poof and I relisted everything at the same time. What gives here? Some clarification would be helpful.
PS I would swear that the inactivitydue to a vendor being empty was 90 to 100 days as to when the vendor gets deleted.

1. Any vendor not visited by its owner within 100 days is removed. This was the one that originally was 2 weeks, followed by an email then another two weeks etc.. we complained about it being pointless becuase of other limitation ans they upped it to 100 which means it should NEVER get invoked because...
2. Any vendor which is empty for 14 days is removed. So 30 days for sales, another 14 days of being empty and you have a deleted vendor if you don't visit it and put stuff back up for sale.

Ok there is not way that I did not visit my vendor within 100 days. No way at all. I picked up items that were offered on there and reposted stuff from the post CU bug. And I didn't get the e-mails. I see one of those and I am there immediately. The stuff dropped off yes. And it was about two weeks. But what you quoted means that it should not have happened if I am reading it correctly. Not to mention again. No e-mails.

My understanding of the rule may be rusty but I thought that if you had nothing for sale for two weeks it would poof. I'm not sure if its supposed to be nothing in the stockroom as well.
Doc,
So in essence you should have 44 days for your vendor to disappear if all items fall off? The last known sale on that vendor was 5/28 by my in game e-mails.

Ok and what I am saying if this is the case, what would the point be? So, your stuff can stay on the vendor for 30 days but if it is empty for 14 days, then it poofs? Where is thelogic here? I could see 30 days and THEN 14 days. That makes more sense. But my point stands, what if you don't get the in gamee-mails stating that your vendor has been inactive?
PS Not to mention the damn CU bug is not our fault.

The emails for empty vendors have always been buggy and unreliable. A better method for keeping track is to check your vendor when you get the failed auction emails. Just to make sure there is something in it.

" I also paid 10000 credits towards the vendor's maintenance, but tipped this amount back to you from my CSR character. Finally, I placed a crafting tool from your inventory for sale on the vendor for the maximum amount, to ensure the vendor is marked active. When you log in be sure to place some items for sale on the vendor if you decide to retrieve the crafting tool and keep the vendor. Remember, vendors are only considered active if someone other than the owner purchases an item, or if the owner places an item for sale. If 14 days goes by without either of the two occurring, the vendor is marked inactive. If another 14 days go by, the vendor is deleted. Keep this in mind so as not to lose anymore items."

Well I lost everything because of this bug and after 3 tickets and a final forum post a CSR finally decided to help me and I quote from his email about the inactivity rule:" I also paid 10000 credits towards the vendor's maintenance, but tipped this amount back to you from my CSR character. Finally, I placed a crafting tool from your inventory for sale on the vendor for the maximum amount, to ensure the vendor is marked active. If 14 days goes by without either of the two occurring, the vendor is marked inactive. If another 14 days go by, the vendor is deleted. Keep this in mind so as not to lose anymore items."but as soon as I log on I get3 emails:email 1.)Your vendor Vendor: Restored Items is now functioning normally.email 2.) (time stamped 2 hours later)Your vendor Vendor: Restored Items has not been used in quite some time. You should place an item for sale on your vendor soon to prevent the vendor from being removed from the game.email 3.) (time stamped with my log in time)CSR's Bank tip to my characterThe CSR helping me just placed an item from MY inventory onto this vendor and it is already giving me a warning. This leads me to believe that the first 14 days are being skipped, and this is EXACTLY how I lost my vendor in the first place. I don't restock until I have about 10 days left because I hate doing it. I didn't have any problems with this until the CU hit andI lost my vendor which had 14 days+ to restock. I do not wish this nightmare on anyone. I have sent in 3 customer support ticketswhich were closed without even looking at what really happened.I have sent4 PM's to Tiggsall still marked unread. The only way I finally got help was posting the transcript of all 3 tickets on the In Game Customer Support forum. So maybesomeone will listen now, this is a......SERIOUS VENDOR BUG!!!

That is complete crap. We were told that rule was modified a long time ago. We fought that battle and won it a while back and now they have put it back in without announcement. The inactivity rule is supposed to be 100 days. I know this because we pointed out there was no reason to even have it because the normal deletion rule would prevent you from ever getting to 100 days. You vendor would be empty and deleted a long time before that.
