I haven't contacted anyone on this topic. It isn't personally affecting me and contact on others behalf would be improper since I'm no longer the Merchant correspondent. I trust Elyssa will aprise the Devs of issues like these when they come up. Whether they respond to her is anyone's guess.
However even when I did have standing to speak about these issues it hardly mattered what my opinion was.

/sigh ..... i'm just going to retrieve an item off every vendor into my inventory then relist it weekly.
What I do is put a single unit resource on at 10cr and then every week or 2 I check to see how many days are left. If it is less then 16 (30-14) I pull it to stockroom then inventory and relist from inventory thereby resetting the inactivity timer.

Most have only been irritatiing (like chat windows defaulting) but this one is costly. I really hope the offer a fair solution for us.
I also had this happen to me. All my vendors except 1 deleted without any warning or anything. All had items on it, all of them were paid with maint. they just disappeared.
I sent in a ticket and the CSR told me they could do nothing about it because the vendors deleted because of inactivity.
