Thread: Item Limit (150)on vinders?

I really don't like the way this is going.,. I hope the rest of my bothers & sisters here will speak out aganst this 150 cap. this should be on the top of the " DO NOT DO LIST"
Just my thoughts
We are currently waiting the next proposal to be released. They are most likely going to scale the vendor item limits to the merchant skills. But expect to have a cap and expect it to be far less than you want it to be even at the top.

Those are my opinions about how things will be. Nothing in my post was a flame or a troll. As to you leaving the game, well of course anyone of us is free to do that at any time.
As a weaponsmith + master merchant, I won't be terribly effected myself, however I *do* go to other peoples vendors for tailor clothing, armorsmith armor, architect furniture.
What does this cap mean?
Tailors and architects (and their customers) are getting told by the devs "F YOU". Architects will probably not stock furniture anymore, and tailors will probably stop running vendors altogether.
If the devs are going to do an item limit, make it depend on your other skills, and your merchant skills. IE: A player with just business 3 and nothing else in artisan could only have 100 items on the one vendor (scaled up to 1000 per vendor at Master Merchant). A player with Master Weaponsmith would get a 1.25 modifier, a Master Tailor would get a 2.0 modified, an architect will get a 1.5 modifier, etc.
All I see happening with vendor limits is *more* empty vendors, and *very* limited availability of anything.
I notice on the Release 7 Test Center notes, there's no apparent mention of vendor limits. Do you know if this means we're getting a reprieve from the death sentence until Release 8?

If you have less space then you will have to learn to cope with it..yes. That is my opinion. I am not making a judgement about the justice of you having less space. I am stating that it is a fact that the devs have told us there will be vendor item limits. If you choose not to play the game because of it ok, but if you choose to play you will have to cope with the new rules which will be less vendor space to deal with.
