Thread: Polititian is on Test
This profession is now on test. And the question you all wanted answer, you must be a ......
Well actually it does not matter.
The profession is listed under starting professions, but does require 500 apprentice experience points to train in Novice. At Novice all you can do is Place city hall and set taxes. One line is devote to decorations (fountains, statues, gardens). The other lines cover everything from mission terminals to placing a red light district.
If no one posts more, I'll research it more tonight.
Please! More on this would be great! Thanks Draznar!
Since agreeing to be the merchant for our guild, kind of by default my nerfed character will also likely be the politician for our Player City.
Are there any elite professions that branch off of politician?

Dang, politician sounds pretty cool! I'm tempted to drop weaponsmith so I can take up politician instead. ![]()
Any word on how we gain politician experience? Is it based on number of citizens in the city, or number of votes received in elections?
Also, it sounds like Urban Planner is no longer going to be an Architect elite profession, unless they are sharing titles with politician class.

Everything I've read thus far, regarding the Player Cities update, has been consistent that there would NOT be additional skill points added.

Yea that means giving up one of your base professions to do this. I'm not sure it is worth it
