Thing is, you don;t actually have to do anything to gain merchant xp. Stick 1 item for 99999999 credits on a vendor called "Jibby's super duper stuff for 1 credit" and put this in a half busy place and you'll get xp for doing what exactly? Repeat it in 3 or 4 different locations and your a merchant machine. Perhaps you'd care to explainhow you earn't those 80k merchant xp points? Don't forget to factor in the fact you could well be off earning all sorts of other xp while your vendors are sat there chugging up free xp for nothing.
I get mine by running 10 active, usefulvendors, three businesses, and at any time having over 2000 items.
You?

I believe his point is that you don't even have to log in to make the xp.Grinding merchant? Just log in once a day to train. Heck, all you have to do is just stay in the village and convert your merchant xp to fs xp once a day. The only way it could be any easier is hitting control-s and having a button labeled'Teleport to Village'.

So would you rather they took care of this than giving us a relist button? Allowing faction armor on vendors? Allowing us a more detailed vendor creation?
In SWG, there's only so much oil.

then FS is probably not for you?
now don't get me wrong, I do FS myself as a master tailor/merchant... however, I don't complain about spending 15 bucks on it. if you don't like what you're paying for, do something else (like combat?)

I was responding to the person that suggested that I simply sit at the village if I don't like the drive. That would be a waste of my $15 a month. I have already ground Jedi via combat with my other account and also grinded him through jedi he is now fully templated. What I merly want here is to be on the same footing with the combat guys as far as the cap goes. What is so bad about that? A relist button would be nice however getting a cap change is more likely to happen as all they have to do is go into the code and change =80k to =900k not sure what language they use but it should be that simple on all of the caps. In addition my wife started grinding her combat character so she could pick up the 2nd player slot. It took her rougly 2 weeks to catch up to what it had taken me 5 month of crafting to do. Now granted I have done no crafting with the intention of "grinding FS" I have merely maintainted my business. However the speed that she caught up to me in and has now left me in the dust shows the imbalance.
The imbalance should be delt with one of the first steps would be to raise the merchant xp cap to 800k or 900k. Our corespondent has listed this as merchant issue #17! Perhaps we can get it moved up on the list if enough people show concern about it?

From the top issues list:
The top 5 issues are the most important and are presented first. Below that are other items in no particular order that represent the major issues based on community feedback.
There is no "order" here. It's just a list. I could have just as easily used - or * to designate the start of a new issue but I wanted to know how many there were.
The top 5 are the ones that are deemed most in need of dev attention. Everything else is meant to be a "whenever you can spare the dev time" sort of thing.
