If so, post here. Tell others about this thread. We know the only way to get them to listen is to hit them in wallet, so let's show them how many accounts they will lose if they go through with this vendor cap...

quit quit quit SOE are slowly killing this game with all there bright idea's and the paying customer is the one suffering.

this is'nt a merchant revamp its an economy nerf, BIG time. Crafters will have to put in doulble time to keep the vendors stocked, weaponsmith's will need vendors dedicated to one weapon lol armousmith's will have to take order's your have to pre-order house's, harvestors etc.

the economy will slowly come to a stand still, crafter's will disapear due to the overwelming time needed to keep shop's stocked.

people wont bother it will be easier to run missions for a living then to craft, and if the Crafter's disapear price's will RISE not fall due to demand and no competition.

this should DIE on the test centre and never see a LIVE server.

Yes, this is enough to make me want to quit.

So was the pushback of the Combat Balance.

So was the decision to kill recursive macros.

Combat Balance delay:Forget about being able to enjoy balanced PvP or PvE. Unless you have alt accounts to buff yourself and lots of time to invest in getting uber-loot items, it's not worth being a combat class. Well, that's fine, I'll focus on crafting for a while, or maybe take up entertainer and be social.

Kill recursive macros: Wow, that makes it hard for me to make all those goddamn structure modules I need as an Architect. I was actually enjoying this profession because it didn't require useless grinding - I can turn structure modules into homes instead of burning them in practice mode. But without a macro to streamline the crafting, it's an incredible pain to make the things by hand. Also, forget being an entertainer! If I can't macro my flourishes, I need to be furious whacking buttons the entire time I'm playing, rather than chatting with patrons. That kills the entire "social" aspect of the profession entirely, at least for me. Great.

Ridiculous vendor item limits: That pretty much kills my last stab at having fun, which was to have a little furniture shop. With all the types of furniture there are, keeping it properly stocked under these limits simply won't be possible, even with my current level of Management 4. The next thing I was going to try if architect ended up getting boring was tailor, but that's REALLY screwed now.

So in the span of about three weeks, they've provided three ways to kill what gameplay was left. Masterfully done. Good thing I cancelled rebilling three weeks ago - less than two weeks to go until it's dead, and every passing day gives me reassurance that cancellation was the right choice.

More than enough actually.

Nothing worth doing is completed in our lifetime,
Therefore, we are saved by hope.
Nothing true or beautiful or good makes complete sense in any immediate context of history;
Therefore, we are saved by faith.
Nothing we do, however virtuous, can be accomplished alone.
Therefore, we are saved by love.
No virtuous act is quite a virtuous from the standpoint of our friend or foe as from our own;
Therefore, we are saved by the final form of love which is forgiveness.

Yes. It blows my mind that they have designers/devs working on ideas like this, yet they can't devote any resources to the revamp until 2005. This is more than enough reason to quit the game, because it shows the lack of concern they have for players and for a profession that has been virtually useless since launch. I swear it seems they look for ways totake away features that players enjoy (vendors, weapon switching, macros).

STOP taking away features that players like, and startadding/fixing the things players really care about.

To paraphrasea famous line from my favorite sitcom Seinfeld,"it's as ifthey have no business training at all'.

I had planned on canceling all but 1 of my accounts when EQ2 came out. The one I planned to keep was my Master Architect/Merchant but I guess at this point I will just cancel it as well. Sony will still make money off of me, but if they want to make SWG stink as bad as the last 2 George Lucas movies then they have to do it with EQ2.

If they go to this i am cancleing all 3 of my accounts as i have a storage problem already!Like he said this is an out rage.Come on Dev surely you can think of something better?I me add a storage center to our house's or something ,hell you could say i am a collecter of fine items and such ,i mean i may stock up on an item for use later on in a different profession.Come on you guys are smart,I think,you can come up with something better than this,trust me when i say you are going to see a dramatic decline in crafters and a depresion in the economy of our galaxies.I love to craft and crafting requires larg amounts of resources Right ,house do you expect us to keep resources to craft with ,hummmmm,right didn't think of that one,did ya? Well all i can say is if it go's to this than consider my accounts canceled!!!!

Sorry for any spelling errors as i am so outraged i can even think straight!!!

Deffo - I've said it in another post somewhere, I would quit all my accounts if this goes through. Bit of a shame really coz i love the game, but take away the core element of it for me (and i'm sure 100% of all long term crafters) and the game just doesn't hold its appeal anymore. Shame.

I probably wont quit, but I'm considering retirement. I'll probably just craft for me and my guildies. It will be too much hastle to keep the vendors stocked.
