Thread: Compromise to Bazaar Cap Increase
Wow! Asimple and sensible middle-ground solution.
For that matter, maybe each box of Artisan -> Business could boost the cap a bit, making that branch have some value other than as a stepping stone to Merchant.

That is a great idea!! By definition itsounds more like a "Premium Auction" than a silly little star, but will need to be moved to Efficiency 3 to make it a Merchant only skill.

Ok. But playing the other side of the table here for a moment. The supposed reason for the change in the bazaar is to reduce the resource crates offered thre (by increasing the number of units that can be sold in one crate). If you limit this ability to Efficiency III and discourage its use by adding an additional fee to it .. aren't you getting away from the point of it in the first place?
I don't want any raise in the cap I've said so, but to propose something don't we have to come up with something that has the same effect as what they are looking at doing? Same effect that they want without the undesired effects we don't want?
The be honest the best answer I've seen is to allow higher auctions for resources only.

Your right, this will not solve any of dev's problems. My thought was that QuiJonOz idea would solve our own problem of useless skills. Im just selfish that way :-)

I'm all for solving our problems. And I don't even mind being selfish if I can control the outcome. In this case if we go to the devs with this proposal they are going to be polite and then toss it because it won't help what they are trying to fix.
How about 6K for everyone, and it goes up to 12k with Eff 3? 24k with Master?
But, then, that would make everyone want to be a Merchant... hmmm, can't have that.
I would support an increase in the bazaar at Master but no master merchant I know really uses the bazaar to sell anything and I doubt they really would even if the cap were raised for them.
If you put a doubling of the bazaar cap in the effiency line then people just take Novice Merchant and Effiency and get the bazaar cap raise.
