Heck. I do not have enough time to stock my vendors. I gave up on the bazaar along time ago.

If the devs think by raising the bazaar to 6k will limit the amount of resource containers put on the bazaar they are wrong. You will see the same ammount of items placed there at 6k making it impossible for a noob to even afford basic resources to craft anything. Sure you might get a few people selling some resources there at a descent rate, but not likely. It's bad enough now that you see a resource being sold for 3k and only getting 500 units. You would hope they would increase it to 6k for 1k units, but I can see it more like 6k for 500 units. Hell who knows, maybe I'm completely wrong and people will start pricing their items more reasonable, yah right.

That might happen but this is a supply and demand economy. Personally, i laugh as I place my resources on the bazzar for 3cr/unit no matter what the stats and always end up selling all 25 within a 24 hour period, when the cap increases, I will still sell at 3cr/unit and probably will sellout everyday as well, doubling my sales. On Starsider, the 500units for 3K resource sales sit on the bazzar forever.

I don't know how that will work. Obviously market forces will play some role in the price of resources. But if you put 500 units for 6k someone will probably buy it. That has the effect of setting a price on that resource..hopefully that will not happen and people will refuse to buy resources at 12x per unit.

Woops, scratch that. It isbusiness2 that gets the premium auctions, right?

Ok. But playing the other side of the table here for a moment. The supposed reason for the change in the bazaar is to reduce the resource crates offered thre (by increasing the number of units that can be sold in one crate). If you limit this ability to Efficiency III and discourage its use by adding an additional fee to it .. aren't you getting away from the point of it in the first place?

What about just leaving it at the premium auction at business2? How would you feel about that? It will give a little bit of a hurtle for the 2x (actually much higher since many items fall in the 5k price point) increase in bazaar usefulness.

I would support an increase in the bazaar at Master but no master merchant I know really uses the bazaar to sell anything and I doubt they really would even if the cap were raised for them.

If you put a doubling of the bazaar cap in the effiency line then people just take Novice Merchant and Effiency and get the bazaar cap raise.

I use the Bazaar all the time... It's 25 extra units I can sell each day, and the customers don't have to come to my shops to do so. True, it's only 25 extra units, but I hike the price up a bit, and I make more profit frommy Bazaar offerings than I do withthe ones on my vendor, despite the 60 credit charge to make it a Premium sale.

Yes... people use it, hence my post directly above. Premium items will be more in prominance with the 3k increase. Less of a cut into the profit of the sale. Premium sales do help, and it is worth the extra 48 credits I pay to make it such.

Wow, that's a great idea. Which means it has a 0% chance of happening. But we can all hope anyways.

As I was saying I only know one merchant ....

I am sure there are others. I only ever used the bazaar as a merchant in the early days to drum up business for my store. I haven't used it in months and I really hate trying to find stuff on there. I do it only if it is an emergency.

If they are going to raise the bazaar fee, then make it start at 3000 and increase it in the Artisan business line until it tops out at 6k at business IV.

Change the Artisan business IV title to Salesman, to reflect what it is they really do.

Simply raising the Bazaar fee to 6k for everyone is just another nail in the Merchant coffin. If someone wants to sell stuff for more than 3k, the let them come to us and we will work out an agreement to sell their wares for them, JUST LIKE MERCHANT IS SUPPOSED TO DO!

Oh, and Premium listings should always be on the front page at the top. That is premium....
