Thread: Visibility
Sadly, it's always been this way, the only time I've ever gotten on the terms was when hunting with same faction Jedi.

thanks for replying man
was totally unaware of the visibility between jedi
so the game that necessitates in order to kill some of the major mobs you must be in group means that in order to progress jedi you must leave all your friends behind and grind on your own.
o well will just have to reconsider playin at all
thx

Do you accure visibility being in a solo group?
That is a question that probably many do not know the answer of yet.
But I think, that lets say you are hunting in a solo group, will generate no visibility.
Yet, if someone - NPC, Player, etc.. - lets say...passes by you while at a lair, it will double the amount of visibility for each person in the group.
So you get 4/4(full) visibility each time.
This is what I have come up with, but it isjust a theory ![]()
EDIT: Fixed a Typo ![]()

In regards of the announcement about jedi (oct 2nd), there is 3 thing that gives visibility.
All of them require you to be within 32m of a player or NPC to get that visibility :
-Equiping a LS
-Engaging combat with a LS
-Using force powers
I still have a question about #1, do I get visibility for wielding a LS in public (within 32m) or it is just when actually equiping it in public?
Thank you devs for answering this little interrogation many of us still have
I think it is safe to assume that having a saber in your hand while being near a PC or an NPC will gain you visibility. Even if I'm wrong, it is still SAFE to assume this. ![]()
**EDIT**
And no, I wasn't the one who 1 starred you. ![]()

Eh, some people are idiots like that.
I'm about 99% sure that just having the saber in your hand generates visibility. Remember the saber equip/unequip bug? At least one person who was hit with this and inadvertantly ran through a city like that ended up immediately on the terminals. (He thought he had regular clothes and another weapon equipped, and didn't use force powers, etc., OR fight anything, but the server thought he had his saber and robes equipped, so he got a ton of visibility for running past people.)
