I got a response to my ticket that asked me to list what I lost and the approximate value.

THAT'S THE PROBLEM with this bug! I have no idea what I lost item by item since they disappeared in huge chunks, and thus I can't approximate the value!

It's not the value of the items lost that is important. It's all the countless hours, days, weeks I spent crafting to build up what used to be a **edit** good inventory.

I know. It isn't as if everyone keeps a detailed record of those items like that. I know of only a handful of merchatns that do (and I'm not one of them). The system gives no tools to do reporting like that and then you have to come up with some figure to compensate you for all your hard work.

The bug effects both pre-patch and post-patch vendors. So, you'll still need to relist items until the bug is fixed.

Before the announcement was made about the disappearing items after 14 days, I thought I was slowly losing my grip on reality. I was sure I had more items on my vender and did not recall ever getting an e-mail notifying me of a sale or anything hitting the stockroom. I certainly did not see a substantial increase in my bank account.This hurts, and I feel so badly for the merchants and crafters that may have been catapulted to financial ruin over this. Sure........here I thought I was going insane so I will now just whip a detailed list of what went poof. I am going to remember that along with the actual sales. I delete those sales e-mails quickly.

So what will be done? I doubt there will be much of a reimbursement if any at all. I just have to say this - I think merchants should be given a......HOLOCRON! We can choose sell it to regain financialstability or decide to bag merchant/crafter and pursue the Path of 'Enlightenment'!!!!!!

i don't have any merchant skills, just artisan, business iii to get vendors. similar thing happened to me. on friday nov 14th (i believe the patch was the 13th) i took down a vendor, put up a new one and put 27 or so items in it. the next day (saturday the 15th) i logged in and there were 5 items. no emails saying anything sold, no increase in my bank account. i reported it through the holocron and a csr did eventually reimburse me what i calculated as a ballpark figure. i'm very sorry to hear of others losing hundreds or thousands of items, i know my loss of 20+ was very irritating. now i'm almost scared to go to my vendor since it's been almost 2 weeks since i restocked. best of luck in getting some sort of satisfaction to everyone that's been affected.

This really blows. I need to check my vendors ASAP then. WIth 13 pages of weapons ... I am not sure I i have been affected. I really hope not.
