Ya know, maybe it's just the paranoia talking but last time I was creating vendors, I could just picture some guy on the other end "feeding" me those abominations, laughing his butt off. "Oh yeah, you tired of pink wookiees, well how about a few hundred purple ones then! MWAHAHAAH". Or maybe is some kinda of weird government survey: "ah, she deleted the heavy red twi'lek with blue markings and white lips, she's obviously harboring anarchic tendencies".

Two theories come to mind...
1. Somecellar dwelling genius has decided to use vendors as a sociological balance mechanism.Sincethe vast majorityof people making player characters want to make them aesthetically appealing, the game gets filled with an impossiblydisproportionate ratio of attractive PC'sto unattractive PC's. Theocular-damage vendors are meant to even out the ratio somewhat.
2. Oneof the dev's hasa crush on Mimi,from the Drew Carey Show.
Sad, either way.

Only on Hiring I, and thanks to this thread the Hiring track will be the last thing I do to hit 'Master'. I got relatively lucky using Random NPC and have a cute human female decked out in black leather. True she has a mohawk of spikes, a bright pink facial tattoo and neon green lipstick, but considering I had the foresite to name her "Miz Phunky" it all works.
I do agree that the Wookiee vendors seem to have the least seriously offensive body forms and I don't mind the white and pink female wookiees. (Being a wook, myself
)
I think that someone on the developer side must be too into the roleplaying aspect and is thinking...
"what kind of prol loser in the Star Wars universe is going to be minding someones store out in the sticks instead of dancing in a cantina or smuggling spice etc." With that in mind, we should be able to pay a higher maintenace fee and get a better looking candidate pool of vendors. ...Pay enough and Oola quits her dance job @ Jabba's and comes to model threads in your tailor shop!
