Sorry that this has happened to you. However, dont let CSR off the hook this easily. Call this first thing mondy and dont hang up until you can get a real answer/response.

SoE CSR seem to think 'sorry nothing can do....' is an answer. That is total BS. Sorry = lack of service. If you enjoy the game, then play a race/class combo that works for you. forget master XXXXX profession titles.

I have had a number of items poof on me, but nothing like this. Give them hell and dont take 'sorry' for anything other then what is it, a cop out. CSR provides solutions, not excuses.

Best wishes,

EO

This is rediculous.

I woke up at 0,0 on the SAME day. My house and many of my supplies for my 4 merchant businesses were gone. I quit chef because all my grindables were gone, all my food, all my supplies and chemical crafting station.

They tell me it was lack of maintenence.

HA!

The same day another merchant/droid engineer on my server, lost his house. I don't know if he woke at 0,0.

And my Guild CEO lost her factory in the same few days, with stacks of cloth in it.

I very nearly quit SWG over it. The only reason I have not is that my guild has been very supportive and my best friend started playing on that same day. I cried .... over... a game.

If you are a developer or a CSR reading this. QUIT lying to your customers and step up! Take a little ownership in your shoddy product and DO something about it. I DARE you to be honest with your consumers! You don't know what's going in your own game? EXACTLY, how do you expect us to believe you when this stuff all conveniently happens in the same day or couple of days?

My deepest sympathies to Margie. I know the loss you are feeling. And it's even more embarassing when you know that the pain you are feeling is over pixels and code. Keep your chin up. I hope you find something fun to do in the mean time.

Once again, the CSRs are claiming that no maintenence was paid on the house I lost not more that 50 meters from Marqie's place that she lost. They say they have no record in the DB that I EVER paid maint on that house, yet the dadblame thing has been there since 1 week after the game started...And I never paid maint.....Can we say BULL SH*T!! I'd go on but the sorry bunch that claims to have our best intrests in mind would delete it.

The developers of this game do not diserve the customer support staff that they have. You guys put too much hard work to have it snuffed out by crappy CS. Poor guys. Devs, if I were you I'd raise some hell with those people for making something that YOU made look like crap. Because if the support services suck, so does the rest of the game. And you guys created one hell of a game, only to have the customer service people come by and wipe their own crap all over it. I'd be angry as hell if I were you. I'd leave this game as well, but it wouldn't do any **edit** good. What does SOE give a crap if one person leaves the game.

I work in the customer support business, working helpdesks from time to time with computers. If my boss saw ONE, just ONE letter like this comming accross her desk, I'd be out the door before I even knew the letter was sent. SOE, you guys are disgusting.

Marqie:

I'm not an architect, I'm a Droid Engineer... so I think that it's safe to say that I can share your grief and understand your frustration.

I don't fault you at all for your decision to leave. We're paying for this game andyou havetaken on extra (unpaid) duties, so all your actions so far have been FAR above and beyond the call to duty.

Good luck and take care.

SOE:

This game is darn near a 5 alarm fire and all you've gotare your garden hoses. Wake up and smell the stuff you've been shovelling... People really are leaving this game and you need to fix it if you want to stem the tide. Good people like Marqie are leaving, and I'll be behind her soon enough if I don't see some truly substantive repairs. Drop these inane expansion projects you're working on and fix this steaming pile you've already laid!!!

Glad to see you are staying. I was quite a ways up the merchant tree about two months ago and deleted it all because I couldnt stand the bugs. Now once again I am climbing the same old tree for my PA in hopes that it has improved to make this a fun profession. I feel your pain and loss as I have suffered similar set backs in the time since launch. I expect much better from Customer Support. But then again I may just be spoiled from the excellent service Mythic provided in DAOC.
