*cough* so is this section R-Rated?
Iwill edit later just had to post that now
EDIT:
Think that covers it.
I know for me personally #2 is lower on the list then a few others.
{#3 and #10 for example, these two would go along ways to 'revamp' us}
#3 alone would create such a impact it would rock the galaxies,
Merchants being able to support a 'side' or create a specific client base by name..OH yeah there is #2 on my list
Wish the bugfixes weren't there at all , since we know at some time certain ones did actually work
and dangit I SOOO want #6 what a market would be opened up there for Image Designers.
I myself would hire one more then likely weekly for a facelift on vendors ,
since that would be by far easier then pulling stock and createing a 'new' vendor {which can takes hrs for a acceptable one}
#14 would be most awesome if implented. This itself would go a long way to help folks who would need #15.
So apart from my own personal rearrangment, I would say its all fairly covered, great list Elyssa.
Very simply put as well {we all know how hard it is to be breif AND meaningful}

I have to agree with you on this one.. I would put #14 in place of #2.. much more practical and think of all the time/space it would save too.. no more breaking up stacks/crates.
Other than that though I must say that this is a fantastic list of merchant issues.. very well done and easy to read. Thank you for your continued efforts to help improve the game in much needed areas. So many great ideas! I would truly be happy if they just implemented the "relist" button. I stopped loading up my vendors some time ago because I couldn't stand relisting everything one item at a time. Now I stock very little and make most stuff as special orders. I refuse to spend hours restocking a vendor everytime the auctions expire.. and i'm sure i'm not the only one. Problem with this is it has affected anyone who might be shopping for, say,some specific piece of furniture.. they can't find it because no one wants to stock stuff that sells only once in a blue moon.As an architect, I would love to be able to have available on my vendors every craftable piece of furniture.. and I would if there was the all powerful "relist" button. Thanks again for all your hard work! Here's to hoping that the devs will finally do something about these issues and treat them with as much importance as jedi/combatissues.
has there been any dev reply to our interest in #3? that is by far the greatest problem for me, as the 50k entrance fee is not enough to deter bargain hunters from what is supposed to be a guild-only discount vendor. i also have problems with some individuals purchasing special orders in packs marked "special order: player name," and would like to find a way to prevent that from happening.
thanks!

Being new to the game, and new to being a vendor, I have a couple of things that would make it better to be a vendor
1, Please make it so you can ID the vendor and or make it customisable on creation just like player charaters, I know this has been asked for, but many voices and all that
2, Make it so you can move them left and right, back and forwards, incase you drop it in the wrong place
3, Allow the removal of the clothes you have dropped onto the vendor, incase they don't look right (now you just replace and loose them)
4, this might be hard, but i'll ask anyway. A remote stock list, so you know what is left on the vendor when you are remote from it.
Thanks
Dnac
2) If you own the building the vendor is dropped in, you should be able to pick up an uninitialized vendor and put it back down somewhere else. I haven't tested this post-CU but I never could make it work in a building that wasn't mine.
3) Vendor clothing is meant to be a one-way trip. There are tricks to removing clothing, but you don't get them back.
4) While you can't see specific vendors filtered, you can see what's on "all" of your vendors from any vendor you have.

A bag labeled "Ub3r krayt weapons" with 4 chance cubes in it is fraud.
hahahahaha! are you sure? that would be GREAT. what about "Bob's Order: Elite POB ship parts"? fraud, no fraud?
and any word on the possibility of directed sales? i really would like to set up a vendor somewhere/somehow that only sold to guildies.
thanks,

If you name the container something and that thing isn't inside it, then you're leaving yourself open to disciplinary action.
You're better off just to name it "Bob's Order" and leave it at that.

hmmm, Elyssa, what is the trick to removing head wear with out putting another on?
You use a hooded cloak
Edit: I started this thread a while ago to determine how to remove vendor clothing, and it never did make it into the FAQ because I was hoping for more data on how to remove certain items.
