As I've stated in other threads, anything below 300-500 items will hurt my business personally.
1000 items per vendor would be ideal...

Ok,..I've gone back and done a 100% in depth look at my vendors/storage etc...
What I could live with (ie what would make this class remain viable) is 6 vendors with either a 2.5K vendor cap, or a pool of 15K items. This is viable ONLY if some other "storage solution" is also implemented.
Otherwise I'm a crafter that can't sell the goods he's crafted, and a merchant that spends all his time stocking and doing /tells and spamming the planet and the auction channel to try to get people in.
See,...never let it be said I don't try to compormise.
But then again I'm master in title but intermediate in use,...so I'm sure my "acceptable numbers" are bringing down some of the masters that do nothing but craft/sell.

I could deal with 350/vendor or 2100 across X number of vendors, just the 100 thing they have on TC is not acceptable.

I'd like 300-500 items per vendor, aggregated, and perhaps weighted heavier up towards master merchant.
HOWEVER - as hand in hand change with clamping down on vendor database usage, to free up so much space in the database - I'd like to see a true 75 items per lot taken storage policy for houses and halls. With the amount of space they will get back from this change, making it possible decorate a PA Hall shouldn't be a big ask!
