Thread: Annoying Customers you want to throw in the Sarlacc Pit

You can no longer throw annoying customers in solo.
Also, /tossCustomer has a long warm up and cool down time and if the customer does anything else annoying during the warmup, it will abort and you'll have to start over.
If the customer is a higher level than you, they will toss you in instead.
You will need to group with a lvl 80 character in order to avoid being eaten by the sarlacc along with your annoying customer.
Either way, you probably won't get any XP for tossing them in.

Don't you have extra /tossCustomer points as a 12 point Merchant? I think it's called Advanced TossCustomer. You might not have seen it since the icons on your toolbar just update with the newly acquired skills and mods. You should be able to toss a small Trandoshian with no problem. You do need to group with another merchant to handle Wookiees and then you still need someone to root em.

Just read it all... and i must thank you all for the many hours i have spent on this.... this has been very entertaining.
I'm a noob, so could anyone tell me what people mean when they say 12 point master this and that? ![]()

When you get skill tapes adding up to +20 experimentation for your given crafting profession, you gain an additional two experimentation points during crafting.
+10 = 1 extra point
+20 = 2 extra points (max)
Sometimes you can sell stuff with other people's name on it, if the buyer is insane....
One Christmas season I was at the mall on Christmas Eve, doing my usual punctual shopping. I saw a stand selling Santa hats and decided I wanted one. They were in the middle of packing up, because it was Christmas Eve.
I went to the guy and asked him if he had any hats left, and he told me they had only one, that someone had not picked up. It said "Mahmoud" on it in glittery letters (My name is Jim).
I was only too happy to buy it. They gave me half price because it was the wrong name and it was a conversation piece for years. I think someone finally nabbed it at a party.
This guy wasn't annoying so much as just ODD. I got this email this morning, strangest one I've had as amerchant.
He even typed it as a memo:
Subject: THANK YOU
To: (My merchant alt)
From: (xxxxxx), leader of (Guild I've never heard of)
Today was your lucky day as we bought a heavytie fighterand a heavy scyk.
Due to my guildmate being a badge wh o re.
YOU ARE WELCOME
Not that I don't appreciate the business, and the profit was handsome, I'll admit, but it was just ODD. Not to mention only about 13.5% of my gross sales that day, which hardly makes it my "lucky day"

Hehe... didn't have a customer, but did experience something like taken out of this thread.
Was in a group, where this true n00b was in. His character even had the ridiculous Dawg in it twice... as if he thought he was soooo cool by calling himself dawg. (name was more than that, but not giving it away, but let's just say that it was stupid like hell)
Now this was a really good group, with some very cool guys. I join the group and hear that one groupmate is at a armor smith buying some armor for himself. Now "Dawg" guy says, buy me the best armor you can... i'll pay you when you get here. He then get's told that the cheapest is 500k.
Oh he says, i only have 420k. (no idea how he came by that, as he was cl 16 and clearly just started on the game - perhaps someone lured his barc away from him)
now he starts asking, can't you please buy it for me for 420k, or can someone borrow me 80k, to the entire group.
And he won't take no for an answer, so he just keeps on asking.
Because we are grinding great xp, he's constantly bugging everyone about training him, not politely asking, no, but repeatedly asking, plz, plz, plz.
A short while later, we are talking about our time in swg, and this guy says he has 45 mil to his name. It hasn't been stated for 5 seconds, then "dawg" guy ask, can i borrow 600k???
Finally he's about to leave, saying he want's to be a bounty hunter, and having enough xp, he'll leave.
Being the stupid guy i am, i ask him if he has scout xp 4xxx? If not he can't be a BH yet.
He says no and stays on for a short while longer, thankfully xp comes fast when you are harvesting high end critters. Then he leaves to go prac his skills. This time i don't mention to him that he needs lots of combat xp before he can get bh.
Half an hour later i get a tell from him. Where do i find a BH trainer.
My reply was : Forums.station.sony.com/swg look for BH faq.
ARGH!!!!! hate it when people don't learn...
ROFL good one

Perhaps it was meant seriously as "You have the lowest prices on resources, thank you"? Not everyone is a native english speaker and he might have had trouble expressing himself?
I would agree with you had he bought something from one of the resource vendors. However, his sarcasm was pretty clear in this case.
Sounds like a guest I had the other day. They made the reservation (they made it themselves online, so it was not made thru a live rep) and they called on the day of check-in to complain it was for the wrong day and was supposed to have been for next week. Now mind you, the reservation was made 3 months ago....and she had the gall to request a free night to compensate for the error (which was on her end, to start with)
Sorry, I just needed to vent.
