Well on my Women's wear vendor I have over 2010 items. On my Men's wear vendor I have 1600 items. On my Resources and loot vendor I have 1000 items, on my Wookie wear vendor I have 400 items. On my Master Artisan vendor I have currently 555 items, and my Specialties and BE clothing vendor has 2000 items. That is a total of 7565 items. I am a tailor, I like to have all items available in many different color selections, not to mention factory crates for other crafters, and resources for sale. I use 5 item slots for storage on one vendor and they are packs jammed full of looted components for loot schematics and resources I refuse to sell.

I'm running 6 vendors for myself and other people.

The tailor vendor alone holds over 1500 items, and the loot vendor in the region of 600. Weapons, Bioengineered clothing and additives probably account for close to 1000 more when fully stocked.

I don't really enjoy having to restock all that using the poor UI they have implemented, but the idea of the 660 item cap is far less appealing!

Hmm.... as tailor my main vendor usually has about 900 items, my secondary usually 500 items in store, and I do not have as complete a selection yet, as I would like to have. Due to the silly limitation on storage space in houses, I use an additional vendor to store schematics, heavy-duty-leather and ressources.

When my doctor was still selling he usually had a Business III vendor and most of the time over 100 items in stock to supply the different types of medication.

5 out of the seven have between 400-600 items on them, 2 of the vendors have between 100-300 on them.

Total count of items is 3,477 items.

I ran across a loot vendor that had 800+ items on it. Most of it junk. Some of the numbers here make me understand the strain this must put on the system. The limits as proposed are extreme and likely based on a formula that will improve server stability without any thought to customer satisfaction. The Devs are taking the easy route. Rather than improve the code and make some logical changes, (like if you dont carry the skill points, you shouldnt be able to aquire a vendor or keep the vendor if you drop the points) they elect to punish all of the dedicated crafters in the game. If you are one of those who carry no merchant skill points and still have stocked vendors, you are partly responsible for taking advantage and bringing this pain our way.

When I die I want to go like my Grandfather, quiet and peacefully in my sleep. Not like the passengers, screaming and yelling in his car!

I've got a total of 3 vendors up atm, 2 are for items priced to sell, Master Doc vendor around 1k items and a Master WS vendor with around 100-200items at any one time...I dont use these vendors for storage....my 3rd vendor is a vendor in the making, nothing on it atm.

After reading the updates, it looks like im going to have to make it another Doc vendor

Im currently running 6 vendors, my arch vendor 2k+ items, smuggler vendor 900+ items, preliced vendor, 600+ items, faction sales 300+ items, swoops and supplies 800+ items, and my storage vendor 1k + items (resources and spare parts for arch).
