Can selling stuff speed up teh XP gain ?
And what about prices? when i sell stuff for 10mil to guildies or so.. do i get mass xp?
From what I understand, they don't have to buy a thing, just look...
"sorry to have to tell you but with 6 vendors at 100 xp per vendor per hour is 14,400 a day ."
No, we get 150 xp per hour per vendor. So at six vendors that's 900 xp per hour.
Times 24 hours is 21,600 per day. I think. I've done it like six times now and always get that number so I'm pretty sure that's right (my math has never been good).
Doc, can we PLEASE get this stuck to the top?
Ravenmist stuck a similar thread to the top of the dancer forum to cut down on the holo-tourist dreg there, I think it's been very helpful to both the holo-tourists and the REAL dancers.

I could update the Guide and include it...
I could also change the name to Merchants Guide v?? Holo friendly...

Merchant Trees - Time to Completion
Business 4 (Artisan) to Novice (1 Vendor) - 1.4 days
Novice - Management 1 (2 Vendors) - 1.4 days
Management 1 - Management 2 (3 Vendors) - 1.9 days
Management 2 - Management 3 (4 Vendors) - 2.1 days
Management 3 - Management 4 (5 Vendors) - 2.2 days
Management 4 - Completion (6 Vendors) - 13.9 days
Total Time to Complete - 22.9 days
This does not include the 50 xp per person/per building with access feesevery 15 minutes, and another 50 per person every 10 minutes for looking at one of those vendors. That's a potential 500 xp per person for every hour you can recruit members of your PA to help you out.
There is NO way getting master should take 22 days....no way at all...
Get Management 4 FIRST, before any other single merchant skill.
I would suggest NOT setting an access fee, as this will deter return customers more than anything else.
HIGH traffic areas are THE KEY to fast merchant xp; that and things people want to buy and a pleasant environment for them to do it.
"But that's the problem, JTG! I wanna be able to continuously and repetitively click to get it FASTER."
The problem here is that a huge chunk of the hologrinders simply use 3rd party macro programs to click through it for them. Merchant not being one of those, they are naturally irritated that they don't get a bonus in speed for being a Master AFKer.
