I'm a Master Merchant right now but is thinking of dropping it to the point where I can run planetary advertising and keeping 6 vendors up. I dont care about tents, pink droids etc.
I see no reason to keep Master other than the lowered maintenance fees on my extractors (around 15) and this is not enough for me to keep it.
The profession needs some more goodies at master AND lvl 4...

Doc, I think if it DID bark, it'd be a much better perk. After all, why would anyone want a PROTOCOL Droid that didn't TALK?

It certainly is! For a long time they had a completely different cost structure (not just rate), andthey have alwayshad different bugs. For a long time, I would only sell resources on a terminal, and now only terminals have the initialization problem.

I dont' know. It depends on why it is the case. I have a deepening suspicion that I know why things are so complex and why the vendors operate so differently but without looking at the code I am just guessing.
