Exploiter... Have fun with it, I hope you don't complain when you are griefed or someone uses a bug to kill you multiplee times, because you're not better than those guys. They will eventually get banned while nobody will care about you, but remember, all the exploiters are the same kind of sad persons, who need to take unfair advantages to win in a game, because they usually are losers in rl.

Sorry for the "trolling", this is not a flame, it's just sad to see that there are guys who think that exploting is cool.

So as a Bounty Hunter, you have never used a "boom-bot" on a house-sitting Jedi?

Never. Never used pets, AT-STs (I'm a reb btw) bomb droids or anything else of that kind on house-sitting Jedi. If the Jedi is inside the house doing something, I wait patiently until he comes out. If he's (was at least) afk macroing on a roof, I /report him to the CSRs. Ask any Jedi on Eclipse, if he's been hunted by me he will tell you I NEVER exploit.

Edit: once I waited for two hours in a player city on Talus: the Jedi was macroing on a rooftop with a friend, so I /reported him. two hours later, a CSR warped them out of the PA Hall.. they were both at the keyboard but, with a little luck, I managed to kill both him and his TKM groupie. He was a pre-patch padawan btw.

The Jedi was all mad because the CSR warped him out, his friend was even more angry.. but I felt good, because I completed my mission and they were even at the keyboard, so that was a real fight. And after tw ohours frustration and adrenaline run wild in your veins, if you know what I mean..

If we jedi knew what caused visibility, we would avoid it, therefore no visibility. As much as it sucks to get on the BH terminal, this is needed for the betterment of the game.

I think you got the point.. all the Jedi would avoid to get on the terminals, until they are Jedi Knights or Force Ranked to have some fun with BHs.

if you dont think this is a flame then Im wondering what other misconceptions you could have. Maybe you dont think you use any exploits but you do.

I agree that exploiting is not good for the gaming comunity, just dont flame someone and say your not flaming him.

Okay lets compare notes.

I have never been on the terms (never been hunted by BHs so..).

I grind every dayby missions - not wild spawns.

I have always used force powers.

I have never grouped (except my dear droid) and I have never hunted with others/along with others.

I have /telled with another Jedi while we both were out grinding.

I have only had a "dot" swoop my me 3 times.....

I have only ever killed creatures - except 1 time where an npc agroed and I had to kill him.

Question: would grouping merely to get bigger mission-spawns generate visibillity...? Still being all alone but technically in a group.

If the system was well designed, then it wouldn't matter if we knew how it worked.

Toadvance asa Jedi, you are going to need to go out and grind xp... that is unavoidable... so if it is combat/force use linked, (as it obviously is and will continue to be), there's no way to avoid some exposure. Notappearing on the terminals isn't an option, but your actions should dictate how often.

We should be able to minimize the risk. Not grouping, staying away from populated areas, not killing NPC's or PC's, not showingyour saber/force powers/robein public etc should help reduce the likelihood of gaining BH visibility. Careful play should be rewarded, just as wreckless play should be punished.

Of course we don't know if we are indeed minimizing the risk until we are aware of the system.

We don't need exact details on the modifiers... a simple list of things that increase/decrease your visibility would be sufficient.

I agree, unfortunatly the only way I know of to get crystals is killing NPC's. Elsewise I'd stick to animals.

Thus far I have not been engaged by any bounty hunters, but I can't say whether or not I have made it onto the terminals.

I play as if I'm currently being hunted at all times.

The Brawler Correspondant says that his Jedi has never appeared on the BH boards..

I'm sure it's very hard but it's doable. Arjun plays on my server, but I've never seen his name on the boards.. I know his named appeared on the terminals at least once, but it's a rare event.
