Ok like someone said above, there was never a 30 days stockroom... Where did you guys get that info?
Personally, I think that having items disappear after 7 days is the best way of preventing people from using a vendor as storage and that it makes room in the database when people quit, so I think it's fine.
What I'd rather see is peoplepost that they want a 'restock button', which would be much more useful and would let you relist everything in one click before you leave for vacations, instead of trying to find a not-so-great solution to the problem, which would add more problems, like extending the limit to 30 days.
Also, to the person complaining about the 1500 items being withdrawn from sale at the same time 30 days later if you do that... No offense, but part of a merchant's job is to know what is gonna sell and what isn't, and if all your stuff (heck even 50% of it) expires in one month you should prolly not even sell them in the first place, or lower your price.

AN updated interface with a restock button that would prove I am still active would be great, Untill that point we need something in place half the games problems are do to exploiters causing something good to be changed to something bad.

This would work for may things, but not sliced weapons and armor.
Identical item names, different stats.
The slice determines the price.

It's the hassel about having to click on each item individually, and looking in lists to remember how much to sell everything for, typing numbers, waiting for the five second delay after clicking Sell.... not so fun.
To help make it a little easier for you, let me give some advice.
After you remove it all from sale, in the stockroom, group the items by clicking name at the top of the list. Then double click the first item. That will show you the price you had it for sale at. Then at the bottom of that screen click sell item. This will bring up the screen for selling. Type in the appropriate price you found on the previous screen and either hit enter or click the button sell. I prefer enter. Then with the list of similar items just right click and select sell item. The sale screen comes up and then just hit enter. Right hand on the mouse and left hovering over enter will at least make life a little easier for what you are about to go through. When you come to a new set or quantity you have to do the price check thing again. Be careful not to hit enter when you have the item selected in the stockroom. It causes you to retrieve the item.
You have my sympathy, and thank you for your support.
He is right folks. When you have thousands of items for sale and would like to take a vacation, this REALLY SUCKS!!!
Developers, please please please give us an easier way to relist our sales or extend the stockroom decay to 30 days. I'll take the easier way to relist over the other any day btw.
Whoops, forgot to quote, and can't edit ![]()
Like I said, the slice determines the price, so one can't just sort by name and price the same with sliced equipment.
A "sell item at same price" option would really help this problem.

There ya go. Imagine an armorer selling 1,000+ items where each and every one of them are a different price. Now he wants to take a vacation. I'll go along with a button that would allow you to automatically resell all your items instead of the stockroom going to 30 days. That would be fine. Just, we HAVE GOT TO HAVE SOMETHING!!!

how about opstion Z) Leave merchant alone and go nerf CMs
No, we want a nerf that will trickle down to all other professions dependent on that profesion.
(Lets give the good crafters a reason NOT to sell/stock items! Yea, good idea...so folks won't be able to fine anything they need!)
