I have one vender its all i can do i cant take my level back up to master and be able to craft, harvester, hunt and protect myself .
i have the basic vender the big thing.
and 50 items would hurt me.

Well I guess you fall into the other 10% then dont you. go ahead and Hit CTRL V and go and visit all of the registered shops on any planet at anytime and you will understand where i am coming from. I always try to keep my vendors fully stocked with the best stuff I Can make too...but then again I feel that I fall into that 10% bracket. My point is that the Devs decision to implement a solution to all of our current problems is being influenced by people who have vendors and shops that either do not deserve them (Surrendered the Merch Skills) or Have Vendors that used to be for selling (say weapons), and are now used for Storage of all of there resources and personal crap (that is what i meant by the Junk Comment)

Ya - the problem with this nerf is that everyone falls into either the 90% or the 10%, but the nerf is killing 100% of businesses. The goal should be to get rid of the vendors that are empty or used for storage without killing those owned by merchants that are good businesses that help the community. The only piece of the nerf that doesn't accomplish this is the vendor item cap. Get rid of that, and they'll get rid of empty vendors while still keeping merchant as a useful profession.
I do feel that there needs to be an item cap. But the more and more I think about it the item cap should only be imposed on those that are not Master Merchants. This would be a great perk to Master the the Prof. The problem is in convincing the masses that have been able to get away with unlimited vendor storage without even having Buisness 3. Just think of how many people in the game you know that have Vendors that are not even crafters. Almost everyone I know has one. With out the cap people could still get one vendor for hardly any Skill point cost (Artisan Buisness 3)and put thousands of items on it. Which would mean that there is still no real reason to go Merchant.
