Doc, I agree 100% with everything you originally posted. I want consignment sales soooo bad. It's annoying to have to deal with this by hand. That's the main thing I wanted, but everything else is cool too. Oh yeah, I like the ideas people have had for the item limit. I think it should be based on merchant skills, where master merchants have something reasonable (600 sounds ok to me). Anyways, I hope these things get implemented.

First of all: We need text only items that are not removed with other unsold items. I'm talking about Price Lists and Welcome Notes. One per vendor would be enough.


The ability for a merchant to advertise on city bazaars. Adverts could be filtered, one per person per city. The co-ords in the advert could be taken from the building we own (it could check to make sure that it only offers co-ords to buildings that the seller actually owns toprevent someone talking their friends into posting adverts for them). The buyer could then "Save Waypoint" from a selected advert instead of having to manually type it in and name it.


Oooh, shipping! Now there's an idea! A red flag on the shop's signpost could indicate there are items ready to be shipped. A passer-by could take the item (and would be unable to use it or sell it) to be delivered to someone's house. The shipping costs would be there payment!
