It can not hurt. One of the Devs might really like one of our ideas and run with it.

Here's hoping....

i dont really care about any of that...

i just want the vendors to load easier.

if something comes off the vendor, all i want to do is hit relist and not have to go any otehr screen or enter a price again

i also question the time limits in general...why do we have them? they serve no purpose. the devs seem to be afraid that people are just going to use the vendors as storage. well, isngt it logical to assume that if people are wasting skill points and paying maintence for a vendor to store items on, that they will just relist the items to continue storing them?

i want to put an item up and list it until it sells or i remove it.

Yes people to relist them but if there was no limits they would just be there forever. This way they vanish if you don't sell them or relist them after a month.

It would be SO awesome if some or all of this gets implimented soon. Items A-D are the exact things I'd need to make my gaming experience more pleasant. The consignment sale one would be the PERFECT answer to making merchants truly the retailers of choice in the galaxy. Right now, I do resource consignments and the recordkeeping and stocktracking take up nearly as much time as my playing does.

The allowing sales to specific people would ROCK for custom orders. Also, not having items count as bazaar sales or raising the limitswould really make me get more offers.

Item E I personally don't so much care about, and I don't personally care too much if people keep vendors after dropping merchant, but then again, less competition is always good!

If you impliment some or all of these changes at the same time as any new proposed limits, it would certainly take some of the sting out of the slap that vendor limits and raising the bazaar will cause us merchants.

Excellent solution to the vendor/merchant skill surrender problem. As you suggested, the vendor stays, sells what it has left on it and items are retrievable by owner, but no new sales may be listed. That way people can finish up what they have left, but not continue to operate a vendor with a skill they no longer have.

I looked at the post at the top of this thread again today, and noticed that onesuggestion from issue 5 is worthy of being a top 5 item all by itself.

Nothing irritates me more than going to an advertised vendor and finding it completely empty! Often it is not even possible to discover the name of the merchant or manufacturer to email them an inquiry about a special order. I know that many customers feel the same way, I have gotten tells and email when it happened to me. (You can tell my name looking when looking at the shop, vendor, or items in it. Branding is important you know.)

De-registering empty vendors would, by itself, double the value of Ad 3

I would totally love a system that would keep track of the supplier and give them what their share of the money immediately when items are sold. It would be a great incensitive for people to rely on merchants more, because the main problem at the moment is that people need to find a merchant that they trust and it's not always an easy task.

Personally ... the second list should be in the top five... quit trying to make this a vendor handler class.. and i wish i could find the thread where TH said the top five wasnt for BUGS.. since every player has access to /report...

this is suppose to be an opportunity for more content.. I wish we would take it
