Thread: Annoying Customers you want to throw in the Sarlacc Pit
Heh... it's kinda like the "Special Edition" version except the customer still sends the first /tell.

That can actually be a cultural thing. With most Americans we want to get to the point as fast as possible and not beat around the bush. In other cultures, it is considered incredibly rude to do that. With things like, while it can be a little annoying at times, its best to just understand that and remember that a long polite conversation beats a short conversation with a jerk any day.

Misunderstood politeness can also be a pain in the neck. When someone makes you go through an exchange of several tells before they get to the point and tell you what they want. It's as if they feel the need to interrogate you for 10 minutes before deciding whether or not this is a good time to ask their actual question.
Customer: Hi, how are you?
Me: Fine thanks, how are you?
Customer: Pretty good.
Customer: Are you busy?
Me: No more than usual.
Customer: Could I ask you something about your weapons?
Me: Of course.
...
...
...
...and so on until they finally get to the point they should have made in their first tell*grrrooan*
On some occasions, it helps them get to the point a little faster if your first reply is "Hello, what can I do for you?", though.

omg I feel your pain. That must have been the same customer I had....without quoting the conversation it always boils down to:
can u make me -------?
where r u?
can u come 2 me? thats far
how much? oi thats too much. i only have 200cr
u r greedy/mean/rude/stingy
etc etc etc.....
Just like my philosophy in real life, "the world would be a better place if everyone spent just one month in retail and saw what really goes on".....LOL
definately feel your pain there! being a master tailor myself i get some absentminded customers every now and then.
Customer:hello there can you make me some clothes?
me:Sure what would you like?
Customer:I dont know you're the master not me.
me:Well lets see, Casual, Formal, or would you just fancy some field wear?
Customer:just make me look cool!
Geez im not bloody psychic! i must receive info on the wish for clothing! no one walks into a clothing store, full of 100's of different types of clothing and simply asks....."make me look cool" without giving them an idea of what they want.
Customer: Hey do you make Flora Harvestors?
Me: umm, nope. sorry

Why do people need that much bait??? As soon as you catch 1 fish you get more bait!!!!
That one is easy to answer, only scouts can file fish and get more bait that way, but anyone can fish. So non-scouts have to buy all thair bait.

Customer : I thought you said you sold armor
Me : I do I sell 80/80/65 Kinetic armor
Customer : But its not 70%
Me: I know I dont have the resources to make 70% yet so I sell 65%
Customer : Whats the point of 65% then?
Me : Its not too different to 70% and its a lot cheaper at only 200K per suit so I get a lot of custom
Customer : 200K per suit? Man Ive only got 50K how can you justify charging so much
Me: My first suit of composite cost me 800K and it was every penny Id earned up until then so I sell cheap
Customer : Your a rip off merchant Im gonna buy somewhere else
Me : Please do and do let me know when you find 70% composite for under 200K Id like to know who can afford to sell so low, in fact Ill buyout their stock and resell it on
Customer : I already know a place
Me : Cool can you give me the waypoint please
Customer : I dont have it, I didnt buy because it was too expensive so Im shopping around
Me : Good luck then
Customer : Lucks got nothing to do with it I just need to find an armorsmith who isnt greedy
Is it just me or do some people just have completely unrealistic expectations of armor and prices? Or is it just total ignorance of the resources market and crafting professions?
ROFL

Hell this one is easy...I I seem to get a lot of these. Goes like this:
"Can you make me a gun"
"Can you make me a gun"
"Can you make me a gun"
"Can you make me a gun"
"Can you make me a gun"
All within a few seconds. Love that.
The easy response to this is:
"No"
"No"
"No"
"No"
"No"
Or, my personal favorite:
"No, butI slept at a Holiday Inn Express last night."
