Ive had this problem approaching a month now, Ive filled out csr tickets talked to csrs gone to the tech support forum. I was contacted a week ago by a csr who asked if a dev could log on my account to investigate the problem. I gave them permission to do so but have not heard back yet. I contacted the csr again and he said he would try to find out more information for me today. I will post back if he has any pertinent information.
I get emails if I am online...however if I leave them (dont delete them) in the box, when I log out and return they are gone. Before the problem developed into this, for a week or so I had extreme difficulty checking my mail. I got it but every time I opened the mailbox I lagged so much I couldnt change messages or move or anything. Then a day or two before I lost all my email, when I would try to delete email it would lock up my pc and I would have to reboot.

I dont get e-mails from vendor sales or offers unless I am online and in the same location at the time of the sale or offer. (Tested)
Stuff goes off my vendor and I get money, but I have no way of knowing who my customer is ![]()
Its been this way fora long time, submitted tickets got no help.

It seems as though once I hit Hiring II my mailings stopped. I don't know if there is any significance, or if it is odd coincidence.

When I don't get emails: I've had no issues with emails until today. Noticed I had no sales today, which is strange. A friend who sells spices sent me a tell mentioning that she received no emails, but got cash, from sales today. Sure enough, I checked my vendors and quite a few items were missing. Watched my bank the rest of the day, and it steadily went up. I received 1 sell email, and 2 failed auctions. Checked my storeroom, and I had about 25 items fail to sell. Sold dozens of items, received funds, no emails.
I have verified this by having a character even purchase items in front of me, from my vendor, as I watched. No email.
Planet: 3 vendors on Naboo, 2 on Corellia.

I now have an official warning on my account because I refused to delete my csr ticket because my problem wasnt fixed. Over 5 weeks now and they keep telling me to delete my ticket because the issue is resolved. Resolved? Funny word that is, I thought it meant fixed. Apparantly it means, we have gotten credit for closing out your ticket please go away now we dont care that its still broken.
Its considered CSR harassment to not delete a ticket regarding this subject.

No Email for me or him.
My balance went down 25k
He never got the tip...
Didn't bug it, didn't care much, but now see this as possibly part of a larger problem. Are balance transfers handled by email for all transactions? It looks like we're losing cash here...

When you do not get them: (All the time, while logged off) I don't recieve them from any of my vendors, and I don't recieve e-mails when someone tips me.
Planet Vendor is on: The main vendor I seem to have most of the problems with is on Rori. Pa Hall (TKDS)

** IMPORTANT NOTE **
It has been almost two month that my in game email has been broken (inbox always empty when I logon). Over the last three weeks I finally was able to get a dialogue started with a CSR, via email, and he forwarded my problem description and symptoms on to his supervisors and the developers.
Much to my dismay, I received the following email this morning:
I am afraid I have some very bad news. I was told by my supervisor that the
developers can do nothing to fix your email. I am so very sorry for this.

I can not believe it. Essentially I have just been told that my in game email will NEVER be fixed. Something that is near game breaking for a merchant with vendors yet there is nothing they can do about it.
Even worse, I anticipated becoming a politician and being a mayor. From what I've read on the Test Center forum, many of the city's functions generate email (people building, people moving buildings, status of taxes, etc).
Urgent Request
If anyone that has experienced this problem has succesfully restored their email functionality, please let me know - either by PM or posting here. I anxiously desire to know whether this is truly permanent or not.

this is a "game killer" for me......it is impossible to be an effective merchant with out getting emails....or do many other things in the game.....
it is not my fault that they have items come off the vendors 1 a week creating 200 emails for me....
the only way to get action is if we raise a daily stink on the boards....ofcourse jeassa or one of the other board trolls will just lock or delete the thread and/or ban us...
i have watched the SOE try to bury this for two months now...you know kosters philosphy...ignore it and it will go away.....
maybe we should also post these problems on game spy and game spot and eb and slashdot
