Yay I have never had problems with my vendors... and I have four!
Use the initialize command prior to any other, that would work.
On a side note... if you have already pay the maintenance for your vendor and then want to destroy it... make sure you withdraw the maintenance first!! ![]()

That should ALWAYS work. After that point you can do as you please with paying maint, etc.
The method that I have been telling people to use most recently (and it has worked every time that I know of) is to create the vendor. Then log out. Log back in and place it. Seems to work. I don't know why.
