I have not stoppedc rafting nor do i intend to, if this goes live i will just simply cancel my accounts and not return. I have 3 months left on my accounts and have canceld already, if it goes live i se no reason to craft, the thought of running endless missions to pay for things just isnt appealing at all, and stocking a vendor 3-5 times per day even less appealing.

My vote still goes to keep item limit as is, or 1-2k min (per vendor) with the option at master merchant to have vendors liked to bazzar )as it was originaly) this will signifigantly cut down the number of items on any vendor, as they are now open for ALL to see via bazzar, and will help smaller cities that maynot be well known to get more travel from shoppers. And will deffinatly help[ the server economy by letting all see what prices are and keep things a little more lvled out.

I've stopped putting single stims on the vendors, and keeping them to packs of 10.

I ahve stopped restocking and won't restock again until after the new merchant changes go into effect. As far as leaving the game goes I am very tempted to start playing city of hero's or something else that the sony devs can't F$^% up.

As it stands I have halted plans on reopening my 2nd shop, and I am not producing any newitems to stock my existing shop other than black and white clothing purchases. I have around 4000 itemsbetween my female and unisex vendors in my shop, and even just keeping black and white would push me over the current 660 item limit. I have no idea what I'll do if they don't allow me to resell existing clothing that comes off the sales rack and into the stockroom if this 660 limit is put in place. (IE not making new items to sell from my pack, just items that come off the sales rack because their 30 day timer ran out.) I'm prepared to pull off all 4000 items before the publish and restock them to gain a 30 day leeway on them, and then advertise and slowly move stuff into homes on a temporary basis. You can bet if I am forced into doing that that I will no longer be sewing for anyone but my closest friends, will shut down my shops, and not renew my accounts after their 3 months are up. I don't play SWG so I can have an online job.

i went on a month long holiday to Scotland and lost my entire SWG business.

1000 Imperial PSGs.... GONE

200 Full Suits of Composite Armor, all made from extinct resources..... GONE

1500+ Sliced Weapons, just about every craftable weapon..... GONE

1000 Crated Repair Kits.... GONE

1000 Crated Powerups...... GONE

Resources for 3000+ 4th Gen Sabers..... GONE

5 Million+ Units of Varrious Resources...... GONE

I hardly even play anymore. because of the very clumsy and downright frustrating vendor UI i havent bothered to restock my shop. havent messed with getting more weapons sliced. havent run a single schematic since i got back.

WANT TO KNOW THE GOOD NEWS? I got engaged in Scotland! My fiance couldnt be happier that Im not playing SWG anymore, and the great part of it all is that I do NOT miss it one bit! She's THRILLED!

i do miss the friends and the joy of watching my bank account grow and the compliments on my weapons and armor, but its just not worth it. i was thinking of getting the business started up witha vengance but now that i see the devs trying to control the PLAYER ECONOMY with a broadsword, vendor limits, i just dont see the pleasure or satisfation in babysitting vendors.

did the devs ever try listing items on a vendor? it took me hours upon hours to stock my shop, the UI is wretched!

I put most my lower end items on sale to clear up space and just place some more storage structures and plan on adding another 20+ in the next few days. I have to leave on business this coming Fri and am not willing to riskcoming back to find a years work gone becuase of this stupidity.

So most my itmes will be transfered from the Vendor, to the Live server via storage houses... sry guys if the lag starts getting worse... I know I am not alone doign this.

I'm continuing with business as usual until this goes live.
However, my heart just isn't in it anymore.
I'm not restocking like I should and if things run out, they probably won't be replaced.

If it goes live, my subscription is paid until mid-October and I'll use that time to have the "mother of all garage sales"

Then I will leave the game forever.
Surely there's another game out there that wants my subscription fees and won't treat me like this.

I'm doing the opposite.

Before this goes live I'm abandoning my shop and moving all vendors into a larger vendor building I currently have one vendor in.

I've already begun uber-stocking vendors. When these limits go live I want thousands of items in all vendors available to me. All clothes, all colours, multiple combinations repeated many times.

I dont want to worry about keeping fully stocked at a 110 item limit per vendor for a long while. So I'm going to give my shoppers as much as I can before I close down shop entirely.

So I wait for everything to sell and drop below the 110 limit....then I'll either keep stocking the 110, or delete my vendors and drop Merchant. I have a gut feeling it will be the latter.

These limit numbers are bullshyte.

production has ceased on all my vendors, custom orders are being honoured but that's about as far as I've gone.

Obviously I can't state what will be happening overall with my accounts, hopefully I'll be allowed to continue by the developers but you never know.

It effects me, multiple account owner and single crafter. I'm a tailor.

My account is a master merchant, master tailor (and polititian).

As a tailor I have a bunch of different people targeted.

There are two approaches:

One location approach:

I target Imperials with Imp'erial Outfitters which includes many different outfits in Imperial grey, including a cute little grey and black "Tie Fighter Mechanic's Suit". I target Wookiees. I target accessories, mens clothes, womens clothes and bio wear.

The way I have it set up now is one small shop in Bestine, which focuses mainly on dancers.

One shop in theed that focuses on dancers, bio wear for docs and dancers, and imperial clothing.

3 vendors at home with imperial, accessories, and clothing.

1 vendor at home with loot on consignment.

My changes will be:

No consignment.

No wookiee clothing.

No accessories.

I was considering making a vendor called "Sample showroom" where you see the style of clothing, then order that in the color you want, making it a non-sales vendor. That would allow me 110 articles showcasing what can be done. Problem is, most clothing is impulse buying, unless it is a special event or bio wear. But... I will try.

I will no longer sell things for others.

Stock on the "sample showroom" will be priced at about 200k so no one with any common sense would purchase it. But if they do, that pays me for the inconvenience of making another sample.

Problem is... I will need several vendors to do that, with the cap. There are hundreds of little articles of wearable we can make.

People will have to adjust to how they spend their credits. No longer will you be able to browse a mall and grab that super cool sliced weapon you didn't know you needed until you saw it. People will have to know the ballpark price of something specific, then go to a place where they know it is made, and bid.

We all know that's not how people shop. Most people, while waiting for their buff to die, will wander around grabbing clothes they will never wear, weapons they don't need... just to have something to do. Because of that, my business depends heavily on having a big variety of styles, in an infinite amount of colors. It's the impulse I depend on, and that will be leaving.

I will have to make the usual stuff. You know.. the exotic leotard in black, the fleshwrap in red, the ligh boustier in black, with skirt, the black pants, black cloak, black shirt... and really not go outside of those items, to stay below 110.

And, with special orders comes a higher price tag for my time. That will be fun.

Gone are the days when I can stock a vendor with all wookiee clothes in every color possible, for both male and female wookiees from gloves, to wraps, to 4 different head coverings, 3 different skirts, smocks, etc. In fact, I'm not even going to spend valuable vendor space on that community.

Then, since I am so limited, I'm going to go with the big budget things. Grand Ball Gowns, and Bio wear.. no more 1k pieces or 2k pieces. If I"m going to use up space it has to pay my bills.

For many, the mark up won't matter, but for newbs, it will completely suck.

I really am not sure that I will continue playing when this happens. If I do, that's my game plan.

For right now, I am remaking the item I sell. No extra stuff. No major productions. I can't afford to make any more than I sell, and THAT takes the fun out of being a tailor.

I just found out about the merchant nerf. I am stopping all production immediately. All my vendors and shop signs will announce that I am closing due to the merchant nerf. It will take me most of the remaining time till pub 10 just to find places to store my stock and resources. If this change goes through I will cease selling anything and will probably quit the game. I have 11 accounts.

The only option is for crafters to become "specialized" of a sort. A tailor that only makes pants or only makes shoes. An armorsmith that only makes composite or ubese. A weaponsmith that only makes melee weapons or pistols. This kind of specialization isn't going to help the customer base much, because you'll see specialized crafters all specializing in the same things....the ones that make money.

Bingo, thats what I am planning on doing. If it becomes to much of a hassle, Ill be at least changing busineses, maybe the cancel.
