As a Doc Crafter/Master Merchant
If these were made possible, I could make tons of money off the buffing docs in Coronet. Although I run out of stock so quickly as it is.

i think the main idea here isnt so much putting vendors in cities as it is giving merchants a tool to manipulate other vendors from any location, including retrieving items from across the galaxy for immediate sale. i think the 25 item sale limit on the droid vendors woudl help with abuse of placing vendor droids in cities and just leaving them.

The whole idea started off when i went to a player event, i wanted to drop a vendor selling some seasonal clothes. Having a Droid that i could pull out and have it run like a vendor terminal. Just thinking about it it could be quite handy for planets like endor, dath etc were theres no ability to place vendors.
