How about this. You leave town for the holiday weekend and get back and see that Vet reward you were trying to sell has sold at auction for 20k. They could have at least reset the time till end of sell counter. But now without the warning or the reset they are going to have a few very angry customers when they sell their items way below what they were asking. Way to go SOE.
Wow you put an item on the bazar for sale, when it sold you blame SOE forhaving thebazar doing waht it was suposed to.
Easy to say that when it isn't your stuff selling because they bugged/fixed/changed bazaars...

This change is listed in the launchpad patch notes now.
And there you have it.

No, I did not put an item there. But I have seen valuable items there and was using the vet reward as a valuable example.

Wow...pretty big change to go through with no warning. Or was there a warning and I completely missed it? (Wouldn't be the first time.

If the bazar function as it's suposed to waht is the problem that could cause anyone to be angry? There are other ways that people can use to sell their stuff besides the bazzar s if they chose do do it that way their prob. Problem solved.

are you kidding me? I have 1 anti-decay kit, 1. i'd be a fool to trust the bizaar terminals for that. if you're putting that kind of stuff up on the bazaar thinking that SOE won't mess it up, you're sorely mistaken.

I am feeling a bit annoyed - this change was not posted on the test center - how the heck are we able to test something like this if its not posted. Look we all know they pushed it through because if they had put it in notes it was coming the merchants would have complained like heck... but still how can you test if you have stuff hidden on you?

Yeah I was a bit surprised to see the bazaar price limit raised. Good thing I only had small houses up for advertising. Luckily i had another day left before they sold. Wierd thing is, is that I dont list them as small houses. They are named "Icepick's Housing and Goods", yet people still bid. I swear people dont read the details anymore....

This keeps getting more and more annoying.
First they nerf the Advertising tree, now they start nerfing the vendor tree.
Before you had4 choices.
- Get some artisan for a vendor.
- Work with a Merchant to use his vendors.
- Sell on the Bazaar for 6k.
- Spam or auction on the trade forums.
#1 and #2 are the only ones that are merchant related, this change pushes people away from them.
It's bad enough people need to work with undercutters on vendors, now this change makes it easier for people to undercut and they don't even needa vendor to do it.

It wasn't posted about because they didn't want to disucss it. Much like they didn't want to discuss any of the vendor changes this time around. The decision has apparently been made to just code the changes now without worrying about feedback. Sadly the protection for individual professions that once existed in this game is a distant memory.
