Thread: Bazaar Auction Cap raised??
So non-merchants can now sell 500k worth of items at a single time. I want to test to see if the max number of items has been changed, too.
Glad to see this "wonderful change" posted with the publish notes.
After this patch, they may as well make merchant a 0 skill point profession. Bah
There were SEAs and an ADK as a 6k auction ad before the patch. Only a matter of time before someone sells a 20 mill item for 20k. Where is the communication here? This is just like TH with the LS psgs, SOE just don't know how to keep their customers in the loop.

just verified it on farstar .... This so makes me wanna quit .... the lack of communication is phenomenal .... unfortunatly I realize that there's nothing else even close to swg when it comes to crafting, so here I stay.

Yep, I had a base sliced helm on the bazaar pre patch as an ad at 6k. So now someone has bought a 90% base helm for 20K. Thanks for the warning SOE!

I thought you could withdraw auctions before they ended...? I've bid on "100 cred" auction adhesives and stuff before where people say "EMail me if you want this for 250k," but I never seem to actually win the auction.

The official word on this will be coming shortly.
" The chicken ate the sheet which included the original Publish notes"
Only thing I would accept.
We all know about the goats and chickens the have running around the develpoment offices...
It appears to me from the changes that they are going to devolve the merchant profession into something like EQ2, where everything can be sold by anyone who purchases a bulletin board and goes AFK selling. SWG might not see the player merchants BUT these changes are, again, heading to the"dumbing down" of SWG gameplay.
Any official word post change is worthless.
SOE did this with Planetside when they introduced BFR's. Prior to that, the game was a simple "rock, paper, scissors" formula which was fun if you had enough of each. Then they introduced the "boulder (BFR's), wet paper, wooden scissors" game and totally threw off the balance and, hence, the fun of the game. Now you're lucky to see a planet pop-locked even after the server collapse.

How about this. You leave town for the holiday weekend and get back and see that Vet reward you were trying to sell has sold at auction for 20k. They could have at least reset the time till end of sell counter. But now without the warning or the reset they are going to have a few very angry customers when they sell their items way below what they were asking. Way to go SOE.
Wow you put an item on the bazar for sale, when it sold you blame SOE forhaving thebazar doing waht it was suposed to.
