My personal goal is to max out my bank and cash accounts, but I am hoping they introduce big ticket items to purchase.. like a 20 million credit luxury spaceliner etc.

Well, I can say it is higher than thatThe bank account anyway - I havn't tried transfering that much to cash on hand.
I never thought about storing it on vendors, that is an interesting idea. Not that I trust the vendors... way too buggy for my life savings!
Don't trust your cash to the hired help!!!

I'm saving up for a starship.
Exactly my thoughts. Until I know how much it will be to buy and maintain 2 spaceships for both of my characters, I will keep earning as much money as I can.
Also I maintain not only 2 houses, a set of factories, and 2 character's worth of harvesters, but also another house for a group of my friends that don't have that much money.

I can't do that, because a couple of my kids started playing and they would tell on me :-)
On the other hand, playing Sugar Daddy to themhas proven fairly expensive, and the time involved has impacted my business, so my bank account hasn't grown much since I became a millionaire.
Satisfying though, I have lots more money and interesting contacts in SWG than RL anddon't have to worry about spoiling them any more. I can be a lot more generous than when they were little :-) I use the million mark as a gauge, if I get down close to that I cut back on the generosity and tend to business a little more.
Only problem is that we do a lot of hunting and exploring together, and their combat skills have gotten too far ahead of what I have points for. At this point, they are kind of dragging the old man along out of kindness. I don't contribute my share to the battle because I can't spare the skill points to keep up.
If the droid certifications went the way I would like, there would be a combat benefit to mastering at least some of the artisan based skills. As it is now, it is tempting to drop all of them and mine for cash. I would only need to pick up novice artisan when I needed to survey for new spots. It seems unfair that a pure combat character can get rich selling product, but a crafter is doomed to be feeble.
Far out...
I thought i was a succesful businessman until i read about some of the things truely successful business persons spend their money on!
Im not quite in that league .. buying dozens of full suits of armor to display in one of my castles .. or whatever.

There were people with over 100 million months ago.
If the database uses a 32-bit integer for bank balance, the limit would be approximately 4.3 billion.
