I have a successful business and find myself with a growing bank account. I have no more lots and my shops are all furnished and as large as I want them. I have good harvesters and have done my share in supporting Tailors.

Besides give credits to new players, which I doa LOT, there is nothing I can find to do with extra credits.

What do other merchants and artisans spend their credits on?

Well, I bought 5 Composite set at 325,000 credit for each set. I don't even use them. But I figured with the millions I have, I need to spend it somewhere. I spent another millions buying a couple of Rebel Faction Armor for display. Also bought about 20 Storm Trooper Helm just for fun.

Seriously, there is nothing really to buy in this game and credits are so easy to obtain.

IF you're a crafter, invest in experimentation skill tapes. Getting +20 for your skill of choice can be quite expensive, depending on your crafting skill.

If you're not a crafter, you can always look into high quality tapes for any combat classes you might have. The max bonus you can get in any skill from tapes is +25 total, so getting a bunch of skills up to +25, and building the dream suit should keep you busy, and potentially poor, for a while at least.

I like to spread my credits out on the floor strip down to my hotpants and roll around in them.

I used to do this for resources but I have an iron allergy....

I used to do this with grenades until the infamous 'You pulled the pin with *what*?!' incident.

Amen to that.

12 Mios so far for +25 Structure Experimentation on Sunrunner

And thats not even close to what the Armor and Weapon Tapes sell.

I just collect rare stuff at random, Krayt pearls, crystals and such.

Player city, guild, beggars in the city... err citizens, loot that I can't get myself in quests because I have no skill pts left to survive most quests as a Politician/Merchant, loans that people never pay back, buying armor for guildmates, buying weapons for guildmates, wearing a new outfit from our Master Tailer each day (I'm a clothes hound)...

I'm estimating between 1 and 1.5 billion in sales this year (2004).

I do employ 26 people/citizens of our player city and they are paid quite well for essentially just a lot rental. I pay out salaries often in excess of 1 million per cycle for 8 lots.. (last cycle 973 i paid 8 employees salaries of over 1 million each).

I've been reinvesting alot of revenue into new equipment (up to 180 harvesters now at 150k each= 27 million in harvesters), so my cashflow has remained relatively static. Now i'm am no longer actively expanding as i've just about reached the limits of what i can manage myself, so i do expect the credits to start stockpiling.

I've purchased 2 krayt pearls, 2 sets of stormtrooper armour, some crystal, a pa hall, 3 sets of composite recently, plus my vendor is loaded with all the extra stuff i've bought but just don't use or have room for .... you never know when you might need an extra 12 speeders?

My personal goal is to max out my bank and cash accounts, but I am hoping they introduce big ticket items to purchase.. like a 20 million credit luxury spaceliner etc.

I also contribute to the city through some direct contributions (2 million so far), events like the miss galaxy pageant (1 million) and EPC will soon be starting a 'sponsoring the arts' series of events to bring in entertainment from across the galaxy for parties. We also plan to start sponsoring other player events.. (fishing tournies, derbys, scavenger hunts etc).

The game only really begins when you have enough credits to do what you want to.

and of course, there are future jedi expenses, which will run into untold millions itself. Although those of us who actually did our professions legit should have more than enough credits, where those who just grinded them will find themselves lacking in capital support.
