Thread: Is there gonna be a cap on vendor items?

I agree. Vendors should not be usable after giving up the merchant skills to use them. The problem is that I don't see how you can fix the problem with a vendor cap. Lets say the vendor cap is in place and you have 3 vendors with 150 items (assuming this is the cap) in them. You give up some merchant skills and now you only qualify for 2 vendors. First, which one should go away? The easy solution is that all three are deactivated and you get to choose which two you can activate and have a certain amount of time to destroy the third. But what do you do with the stuff on the third vendor? You can't carry it. You probably don't have enough space in the house for it (my house is always full of displays and materials). With no vendor cap you could pull off what you could and put it on one of the other vendors over and over again until the third vendor is empty. With the cap, you have to decide what stuff you are going to destroy because you simply have no space for it anymore.
