We need more features like this to make the merchant a more meaningful profession in SWG. Otherwise it's just an extension of the crafting professions.

I think need to be extended to more then just a person. I want to charge different prices for different reason. kinda like a senior discount. Example I am faction A - I want to sell to Faction A 100cr but Faction B needs to pay 800 (there is a war on you know). I do alot of business with fred I want to give fred a 50% discount. Right now I can only do that by refunding money to them.Such is life. We will see what is implemented over time.

Your issue sounds like a concern for time spent traveling from shop to shop visiting all the weapons vendors.

Would player cities (with shuttleport) and vehicles solve the irritation/hassle of shopping?

Actually when I first read the title I thought of something else. It would be nice if on the bazaar players could put up requests for what they want and how much they want to pay for it. First player to fill the order gets paid. So say you want a gun. You get a list of all the gun models available. Say you want a DX2. Then you get all the modifiable stats on the DX2. So for example you pick you want min damage to be > 100 for example. Then you pick a price you want to pay. Say 40K, the game deducts the 40K and 5%, so another 2K. You have 1 week for the order to get filled. The first person to fill it gets the 40K.
