I use swgmail.com
It's an online mail manager, but I have about 18000 mails saved on it, and it's speedy. Takes no time to load, and it has a lot of the features I like - graphs of sales by day, by vendor; lists of my top customers and how much they've spent, per vendor; lists of what's selling best, etc.
Being an online program, there's probably 1 more step compared to local programs - you have to zip your mails and upload the zip file, but that's pretty quick too. And it saves all the data you upload, so each time you upload, it automatically filters what's new and discards what's old. So you don't need to worry about uploading only new emails, or uploading everything at once or anything. I like it...
