Clearly something this important must be pushed out before the Combat Balance.
It might even be worth delaying JTL for a few months!

I would encourage everyone to add something like "I support the Comma Revamp" to their characterbios or some other semi-visible place.
Maybe I'll even have a vendor bark it!

How European of you.
Seriously, this should be implemented on the client, which will allow you to configure how you want it to display. 1 million will be stored in the database as 1000000. Let the client parse and display the value to 1,000,000 or 1.000.000 as you choose.

Lol the big comma revamp!
oh yes im sure this is on the top of the list for the next publish lol they should try fixing all the other bugs in the game that irritate us all first, but less strain staring at the 0's would be nice, i would rather not have any problems with the ham bars that seem full until you show up dead....

Yeah I agree that commas would make things easier. For vendors as well as the trade window... I just spend too much time counting 0s.

I like the idea of comma's appearing in vendor prices, and it might fit the vendor improvements.
Putting (or allowing) commas in input dialog boxes and commandsthough is a mess. They really don't fit the syntax. It is enough of a pain already that empty price boxes get a zero so you can end up paying 10 times what you expect. What is supposed to happen if you delete one zero between a pair of commas? Do the commas move? When? I don't think an intuitive solution is feasible.

As for how it's formatted would it be too much to ask that the client (shock horror) uses the Native format of your OS as set in the Regional and Language Settings?
