Thread: TERMINAL vendor workaround

Like Radiant-Sharpiesaid, I can only use my terminal vendors if I initialize BEFORE I pay maintenance.
Ialso can't "Create Vendor" before clicking "Privacy" once in the controls for the house. Just though it might be worth repeating.
Are you saying you have to click privacy each time before creating a vendor or only once for each structure? It isn't a bug that requires the structure to be public, that is by design.

Man, I feel like we're all trying to make an oldNintendo game work.
Only way I've been able to get the terminal vendor to work was by dropping it in the most annoying place in my house and not rotating it
Yep we are just trying to get thegame cartridge balanced in there JUST right.. ahhh its working..don't jump around too much..you'll jar it loose.
Tried every option in this thread...nada
This may be a new problem - so this suggestion may not work at all.
Previously - I had a problem with vendors not working after initialization - the first DAY. After the next mornings reboot - they worked like a charm.
Have you tried placing them and initializing - then just waiting till the next morning reboot rolls around?
Granted - this shouldn't happen - but at least they then worked.

Doesn't work for me folks

Thats frustrating since it has worked for so many. Give us a few more details about your case and lets see if we can come up with anynew ideas.
I could not get this to work with a power droid vendor. When I am able to log on I will try deleting the vendor and recreating it,
What I did was:
Create Vendor
Drop Vendor where I wanted it (did not move or rotate).
Hit Initialize vendor.
Went back, initialize vendor is NOT still there like everyone else is getting.
Use Vendor---vendor not intialized.
Anyone else able to get it to work with the power droid?
I didn't really want a terminal vendor, I was just indepentedly testing what you guys were observing.
My Ithorian horde still works just fine
I did not quite understand the instructions givenby Diggles, but foundthe mistake to be similar to what zep posted. I became confused by the term menu, I was closing the radial menu when I should have been closing the Vendor Admin menu. So I would make the following clarification:
- Drop vendor
- Rotate to desired position
- Intialize vendor
- Open radial menu (continue to hold mouse down for steps 5-8)
- Move mouse over the Vendor Admin menu
- If Initialize Vendor is still visible, move mouse away from Vendor Admin to close its menu
- Repeat steps 5 and 6 until Initialize Vendor is not visible
- Move mouse to Use Vendor and select

Yea I think unwritten above is that you HAVE to open the Admin Vendor menu while the Initialize option is still there and then mouse out of that menu for it to work. That was my experience. SImply waiting until the initialze option went away didn't work.
Has anyone gotten this to work with Protocol Droid vendors?

I have not gotten this to work with my Protocal Droid vendors at all. It works with WED Treadwell droids. I haven't tested the other droids.

Yes I used Protocol Droids for my testing.
