I just noticed this problem this morning and started another thread on it, but i'll follow up to this one.

I tried to purchase one of the higher cost items (50K) from the bazaar listed in a location other than the normal bazaar cities. I recieved a message box stating "The commodities market does not accept bids higher than 6000 credits."

I aslo purchased a low cost item (1c) from the bazaar listed in a location other than the normal bazaar cities and was able to buy it. I went to pick it up and the vendor it was from was NOT initialized. I was not able to retrieve the item.

Hope this helps!

Because of yesterday's hardware upgrades, player vendors on Bloodfin have been losing their complete stock amongst other idiosyncracies.

Congratulations to the sorry development team that pushed this live - in one fell swoop you have managed to force more crafters from the game soon to be known as KoToR Online.

My sympathies to merchants on the other servers who are getting the hardware upgrades today. I just hope we get all of our stuff back.

Hey, since I made a Star Wars Quake III mod 5 years ago, does that make me an SOE dev??

This really isn't constructive. You don't know that it was related to hardware upgrades and even if it were they have done this upgrade on several other servers and this is the only one that has an issue. There is no point in finding blame when bugs happen, the only point is to find them, squash them, and make sure the data affected by them is corrected as much as is possible. Keep your CS tickets updated and make sure you document any lost items so you can make a case for them being reembursed once they have fixed the issue.

All of my vendors went un-initialized. When I clicked on them... the vendor spams my items and dumps EVERY SINGLE ITEM back to the stock room labeled "Restored Item". This happened last night. So I retreieve EVERY SINGLE ITEM to put them BACK up for sale and everything seems fine.

I log in today at lunch... SAME FRIGGEN THING. I'm not putting anything back up till they fix the problem.

And yes it only seems to have affected BFIN.

fyi i'm on radiant the when i try to access my vendor i get a "Market Is Unavailable". seems they've made the vendors unaccessable due to what's going on. they'll probably be unavailable till they fix this.

Personally I think they got the entire system backwards. I think vendors should be for everyone and limited and the bazaar.. especially the auction function.. should be merchant only. I think it a big waste of time to have the biggest resource for buying and selling goods... the bazaar.. pushed on newbies and have no practical use for anyone else. But that is just me. and I wouldn't complain if the bazaar's limits went up.

Hmmmm,

I didn't realize anything that wacky going on with my vendors, but one thing that struck me as odd, was that I had received an email that said my Pre-Packaged Outfitsvendor was empty and so on so forth. When I check it, I had about 10ish items on it. Which was about how many that it should have had. It didn't look like I had lost anything. So I just pulled a set off the vendor, at which time I got an email that said it was functioning normally, and then I put it back on and it seemed fine.

I hope I don't get home and find out that all my stuffs went POOF!

Ok, here is the latest on Vendors. It was a localized and very odd situation of ghosted items. We are running a DB query in the morning to fix the issues on Bloodfin and Karui. Radiant was a different issue and those problems are resolved.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
