pardon my misplaced decimal point. And thank you for your concern about my employment status. It is a slow business day here before Thanksgiving so I do have time to play on the internet.
I still don't believe you and neither would any sensible merchant who doesn't want to get scammed.

You know DingoBoi, in the past you've said some things that were just plain horrible. But at other times your words ring true.
So I took the time (it'sWAY slow at work right now, hehe)to go review this chap, Wilstar's posts.
What I've found has led me to the same conclusion that you have arrived at.
Wilstar is a SCHISTER. Buyer Beware.

indeed...(slow day here too). It just doesn't add up and has the stench of a mega-scam.
- 30k stacks of resources.. probably alot more since a bunch must not be full stacks.
- low forum post count. late registration date
- of the posts on the forums. 1/2 are regarding "i'm so rich, trade me credits'..and the other half are about what seems to be a very small time resource biz.
- Doesn't seem to care where he goes. Seems to me a well established merchant isn't likely to uproot and move to another server. I would presume if one were to do so, they'd have a specific reason to, such as joining friends on another server. Maybe he's just running away from a really bad reputation.
Conclusion: 12 year old scamming

Hmmmm...
I don't know Wilstar personally. But this I do know:
* I've been playing on Chilly since Feb 04.
* Since almost that day, I have seen Wilstar around, usually in Theed (including multiple times over the last week).
* I have been to and bought things from his shop outside Theed on occasion over those months.
* Dingoboi doesn't like eggs. He's always throwing them away (usually at other posters).
* Post count means nothing. There's peeps here with thousands of posts that I would not trust. There's peeps with only a few that I would trust quite a lot. And I know players I highly trust with (GASP!) ZERO post count on these forums.
I thnk folks here are a bit too high and mighty and full of themselves.
If Wilstar is a [quote] " SCHISTER", then post your proof.
Frankly I tire of Dingoboi's tarnishing of others too easily here.

please post coordinates of his shop if you can and i'll go investigate myself. These resources must be stored on a vendor and that is easy enough to verify even if they are in bags, there must be a minumum number of bags
wonder if my math got any better... 30000 stacks of resource / 50 per bag = 600 bags. Does he have 600 bags on his vendors? How much visible stock does he have? I'm not doubting he's a resource merchant and maybe even a very good one.. but how many mega-merchants never use their trade forums and when they do are only posting about piddly quantities?
I can certainly understand that resources do appreciate in value.. but only to a point. and that appreciation can be negated by a new spawn at any point.
My original post was questioning and leery. His response was not only defensive, but also failed to provide any details about his operation, (such as : been running 300 harveys since first month etc) Now he doesn't need to justify to me per say his operation or his net worth.. but when you go begging for credits and you seem to be an anonymous individual, that SHOULD raise some eyebrows.
If i was asking for a credit trade, i'd be looking for somebody who was established and was a name with a good reputation. This person seems to be none of that.
When considering a trade of this type, trust is a big issue. is it reasonable to presume this person actually has the credits? Do they have an established business or is it just conjecture that you can't follow up on.
NOTHING here adds up and I pity the person who takes him up on this offer. Tarnishing his image? I hardly think so. Could I be wrong? Maybe, but point to one thing that even remotely indicates that I am in my conclusions.
I'll be waiting for that waypoint to his store. Hope he posts it himself too, but that won't happen now will it, because then there would be 'proof' of his scam

The matter at hand is he is asking people to place trust in him and there is no reason too. in all actuality, there are many reasons not to. Post counts by themselves are nothing, but what those posts contain or don't contain are valuable in establishing credibility and trust.

Just on his 'good word' he'll give you that back on another server? Wouldn't you do a background check?.... and take that from the perspective of someone who has never heard of or seen this person.

Now lets see, you've been registered since March of this year so assuming that this was close to your join date (lets say for the sake of brevity the start of March), and at a maximum extraction rate of say 90% using BER13s (at approx 16900 units a day per harvestor), in the 300 days since we assumed you joined and also assuming a constant extraction rate over that time, you would need something in the order of 591 x BER13 Harvestors going 24x7 on a 90% resource spawn.
Nb: This is assuming a steady resource earnings as you have had to have grown expenonentially over this period to match your resource accumulation. The best estimate I could come up with would have your existing fleet just below the 2000 mark assuming you started with one personal harvestor and grew from there.
So in this entire time (well in these assumptions at least), you somehow managed to accumulate the equivalent of about 60 accounts on your server? Not bad going for even the best of players.
Lets have a look at your mining operation then. To have mined this amount of resources in this timeframe, you would of needed to purchase your 591 x BER13 Harvestors (at say an average cost of 100k each) for 59m credits (though you may of gotten a discount for that number - though I would like to meet the person who had the 9m units of ore laying around to make them with
).So from day 1, you somehow managed to get starting capital of over 60m credits (this is inc power and maintenance btw) to attain your end result of your claimed 3 billion units of resources.
Ahh, but what about the above mentioned power?
To power these 591 harvestors for the last 8 or so months, you would of needed about 1800 units of power per day per harvestor, which equates to just over 1m units of energy in total per day since you started (or 300m units of energy over the entire period).
Now, in addition to all of this, you must of been selling resources off over this period to make your claimed 1 Billion credits in cash, so the numbers shown above are more than likely at the lower end of what you claim. I could also factor in other inputs such as downtime on spawns, surveying sufficient areas for these spawns across multiple planets, getting to resource spawns first to maximize the number of harvestors to drop, etc.
I also haven't factored in the time required to shift all 591 harvestors everytime a resource spawn shifts, nor taken into account the ferrying of such large amounts of power to the harvs, shifting hopper contents into storage, stocking vendors, acquiring new power, etc.
As I said, some very interesting maths at work here

Just wanted to bump this message up and let people know despite the negative words from some people, the offer is still on to trade credits.
I have made many cross server trades already. This might be silly but I have references if people need it and wanted to trade. I thought there might be
some other successful merchants with tons of credits like me who wouln't mind trading some. Maximum tip is 1 million anyway. If interested, I could
always tip first.
