My advice is, do not worry. If SOE will be very careful not to ban an innocent person, If that person is from the US it could lead to lawsuits and loads of bad PR. And just think of entertainers whose only viable income are Tips...

I'm really disappointed that there is still a working credit dupe this long after release.
May I suggest random drug tests for the entire Development team?
And if the problem is incompetence?
Or maybeincontinence?

And if sony goes on a witch hunt and you get wrongfully banned, well screw em then. You're finally free and can jettison this crap fest of a game and not have your addiction pull ya back.

Val,
I wouldn't worry too much. established folks (like yourself) have a long running history of passing many a credit via your little hands. Since the devs "acknowledge" they tracks such activities...its not going to be any suprise to them...thus eliminating you as being part of that activity... so no worries.

Hey, I just had a thought...
What if this whole "credit duping" warning is just a scam.
You know about all those sites that sell credits for cash. It happens on Ebay as well.
Well, maybe by throwing this warning out there, they're hoping to make everyone too paranoid to buy credits.
And if it's not a hoax, maybe some of the bigger credit sellers will suddenly find themselves banned.
Or maybe I've been watching too much TV.

Wouldn't be the first time the value of credits has apparently been driven up by devs decisions.
Devs themselves publish that they use the ebay sales to guage the economies across the servers. Go figure.

I don't think these credit duping warnings are going to increase the value of credits. Quite the contrary for those who fear to be banned.

Yeah, I would think that those that pay cash to buy credits for resale would be afraid of picking up duped credits which would effectively shut them down.
Also, the people who buy credits would be afraid of purchasing funny money and being banned.
Overall, it would put a serious crimp in the credit selling business.

Sorry, but the EULA covers the fact that they could simply strip your character nekkid and not give you a reason for it and you couldn't do anything.
But they wont' do it to an 'innocent' - however, realize that there are a multitude of ways with the system to find out whether or not you are actually innocent. I have done dupe tracking in MMO's and I'll tell you that their methods are quite thorough.
