I withdrew a backpack I had for sale on the vendor yesterday, I couldn't auto-retrieve it since it didn't fit in my inventory. Unfortunatly I wasn't in the stockroom either, or for sale.. it was just gone.. all I had left was the auction unsuccessful email. Bugs like these really bugs me out.

Ok I have more info now. It happened again last night with some pink hot pants (thus another vendor). Needless to say, I always replace pink hot pants as soon as they get sold, and it was less than 30 days, and they are still on my vendor. So... it proves the theory that it happens when a customer didn't retrieve an item. But why do we get the message as the items are not in our stockroom?

what i think it is is the devs are replacing items that went poof -- ones we cant see, they hit this weekend -- last week and now are gone for good -- i bet the patch pulled old items that went poof out of limbo.
I forget the name on some of my items - i think they actually said recoverd.. but i couldnt recover them.
all my backpacks are labeled, sometimes down to aserial number -- these items were not listed like that -- i forget the exact working though...

There have been reports of customers not being able to retrieve stuff they've bought from vendors; they pay for it and either can't see it to retrieve it or (as happened to me with a couple of schematics), go to retrieve and nothing shows up. CSR response was pretty pathetic. "We don't know what you bought so we can't help. So sorry kthx buh-bye" (even though I had emails from both purchase and sale, since it was one of my chars buying from another of my chars' vendors). If those "failed pickup" emails do relate to customer purchases, as they seem to, I'm assuming we're getting the mails because we own the vendor.
I'd had a couple of these too and wondered what they were. Things are clearer now, if not cleared up.

Hi
I just wanted to mention that I received 111 emails on July 6 telling me that my vendor auctions expired. I inspected my emails and noted that the items that expired were stuff that I had posted about 30 days ago. It looked like they did not go straight into my stock room and simply got deleted (as I placed a few things in the stock room to see if they would vanish too). I opened a ticket today after I assessed the damage and calculated that I lost 1.3 million units of resources. Please fix the hotfix, thanks.

While I haven't been hit as hard as my server mate above, I've had quite a few items vanish into that void too. Today it was around 50k of some very nice Dantooine Berry fruit, and it was not in the stockroom last night or this morning, and I didn't recieve any failed sales emails.
I put in a ticket on that one, lets see what comes of it.

well the solution is easy enough.
Everyone take down all their vendors. No vendors no bugs Right????
The above answer was canned and distributed to all CSR's.
Seriously though I just had it happen to me on both sides. I had a note that 3 items had expired all 3 items had been sold (just coincedence that 2 items happened to be the last 2 of that type in stock)
The auto-retrieve doesn't always work and it Poof's into never never land, it either reapears in the vendor or in the buyers inventory. That is what I believe is going on. (I could be wrong though)
