In this case obscene means banned as well......such as General (rank, even though I wanted General Merchandise). It is overzealous compared to what people get away with in names and house signs....equal filtering for all!

I could not name my vendor Medic Supplies either. Everything I tried wouldn't work so I finally settled for Hospital. lol

The naming restriction on the word wookiee really torked me because I have a vendor just for wookiee clothing and accessories and I refuse to spell the word wookiee wrong just to get around the filter. However, I did discover that Shyriiwook isn't restricted so I used that in my vendor name.

Miss Cellany is also apparently obscene.

Mis Cellany, however, is not.

When I got my first vedor, I wanted to name the bulky thing "Coke Machine." It was obscene. I figured it was because of the word "Coke," but alas, Coca Cola Machine was also obscene. So I settled on "Cigarette Machine."

I *think* the game won't let you use actual SWG names. Not only can you not use Imperial, but Wookiee is also obscene apparently.

Lol, stupid filter!!! Intergalactic Power Co is obsene too!!! I dont think it likes Co words!!! could be why "coke" and "cola" didnt work!!! Stupid filter!!! so it is IPC, I guess Im just lucky that isnt obscene!!!

words like: General, Medical, Supplies, all wont go through the silly filter..

after being declined many times in a row,I tried: Jacka**, out of just being upset, and it went through without a problem.. go figure... :/

after getting a good laugh out of that vendor I distroyed it, haha

although the best name for a medical vendor is "Pharmaceuticals", luckly that wasnt blocked

General is banned becuase they take it to be a military rank. How that would be a problem on an overweight twi'lek NPC with bad fashion sense I am not sure but apparently the Empire has standards for these kinds of things.

Yeah the thing hates commas and colons too.

"Droids: BH, Utility, Combat" is obscene.
"Droids BH-Utility-Combat" is not
