Yep, I panniced too.

Funny thing is, though, while I can find several posts saying that the nerf was in place, I can't find anyone who says "I now have a vendor bill of 7649 credits".

I am not saying that maybe some people ARE seeing an increase... but I am having problems finding anything but a generic "vendor rates are up".

I would still advise that everyone should put enough money to cover a few days of their vendors into their vendors ASAP. When the change goes live, you won't loose your stuff, and can remove the money if you decide to tear the vendor down.

Why _should_ we be bigger than that? We're the ones paying for the game to be run, we're the ones paying for the idiot drooling monkeys they call employees to have better salaries than many of us have, and in return, they ignore us, insult our intelligence and ruin the entertainment we pay for.

I say make every item you can, fill up everything, watch their database explode since it sucks to start with, then cancel and laugh all the way to the next game.

Screw them, they're not worth being nice to.

Well you see I would love to use my vendor to bark infomation such as that...however vendor barking only works for me for an hour or so, and then the vendors go silent. They are always silent in the morning, after server reboot, but they have never lasted a whole day...I think 5 hours is about the max for me.

SOMETHING is going on... I had over 1k maint on all my vendors last night... this afternoon, one was in need of repair and several were almost out of maintenance.

Worst of all, they all show Maintenance Rate: 0 (I have Efficiency II)

Someone explain this to me. Please.

Meanwhile, I raised them all to 7k maintenance at 6:15pm EST today, and am waiting to see what happens.

Last night, rather than delete my gun barrels from grinding, I've put them up for sale for a 1cr each... a real bargin!

It is actually faster to put them on my vendor than to delete them... so this is working out well.

Let me put this another way that you may understand...

If you crash the database with little one credit items, you are doing nothing more than denying service to others who currently do not have a problem with the game.

And since you posted yourintent in this thread, SOE knows who to look at and will have no problems at all with banning those individuals who stated that they were going to do what they could to nerf the database.

The only people being hurt by dumping objects into the database are ourselves. It is not the way to protest.

Oh... if this goes thru I'll more than try... I will crash their database with legit game practice.

If I used expoits/hacks.. that would be a violation... but to crash their game thru normal gameplay... that's different.

I'm offering quality gun barrels to weaponsmiths for 1 cr each.. and hey if they use em I get usage exp So it works out for everyone.

I'll manage to use every singe meg my little toon can use...
