god some people are stupid and arogant always be nice to tradeskillers they go through alot of boring stuff to service you (although in the end its worth it)
any way if someone asks you for an item for free make somethinkg realy basic like a stim or a cdef pistol and rename it somthing including u idiot and give them that as if its what they want
Heh, I recently decided to do precisely that: Made a CDEF pistol, and labelled it "Best Gun." Waiting for my first chance to use it...
We may all laugh, but think on this: All those people are out there IRL and can vote and drive cars.........................
How the heck do they function in the 'real world'? Come to that, how the heck do they manage to operate a computer? ![]()
OK - so some of the juveniles will grow up and look back thinking "Geez, was I a putz or what?", but some of them won't.
lmao omg
i came in here looking for advice on grinding merchant and havecome out with a whole new respect for crafters

OMG, I have to get my self a crafting profession and merchant skills, all these stories make it sound like so much more fun.
"Can you make me someclothes?"
Well, I'm a Master Tailor, I should hope so. "Sure, what do you need?"
"Whatever looks cool."
-_________- "Um, do you have any clue at ALL what you want?"
"No, but better than this."
Mind, this is through tells, so I haven't even SEEN the guy yet. And then it just goes downhill from there. He expects me to image design him FOR FREE. Sorry, don't give a womprat's butt what another image designer did to him, he's in my territory now.
Then he decides to call me a moron, because someone's trying to sell an ExquisiteDancer'sLeotard schematic for about 100k, and the leotards themselves sell for around that much from what I've seen, and I said so(because Mr. Idiot was asking about them), so he calls me a moron. It's like, hello, these things require loot drops, some of them identical, which sell for a pretty penny, and in order to get a good profit, they need to be sold for around 100k, despite the fact the things aren't all that useful to begin with.
So yeah, I was complaining in guildchat about this guy and having a laugh, me and a friend(another Master Tailor) boggling at the pure idiocy of this guy.
Anyway, I finally just walked away, while correcting the guy's misconceptions and horrendous grammar(yet he claimed to be a programmer), until I had amused myself and ended up on his ignore list.
The only idiot I've EVER had to deal with so far. If I'm lucky(not with my luck), will be the last. But eh. They need a sign: "IQ Too Low. Do Not Bother To Explain."
Dont get me wrong, i know what it was like to be poor, but there are a lot of people out there that want everything for nothing and have no idea how the game works.A classic example i have had: (i am master artisan/weaponsmith)
Customer: Hi can u make me a swoop.
Me: no sorry im out of resources.
Customer: what do u need i got some.
Me: about 8k of metal.
Customer: oh ive only got 200 copper, can u make me one anyway.
Me: well no ive not got the resources.
Customer: well your no good, what can u make?
Me: well weapons, but if your going to be like that nothing.
Customer: can u make me a DX2 Pistol.
Me: I got an ok one on me now xx speed xx-xx attack, will be 6k
Customer: I only got 1k on me can u lend me 5k.
Me: no do some missions.
Customer: well if u lend me it to buy gun off you i can do some missions and pay you back.
Me: no do i look like a mug, do some missions and come back.
Customer: well your a #:&%$*£.
Me: ok nice to have met you good bye.
The customer then procedes to run around Anchorhead shouting that i make crap weapons and am a ^$%^£.
I am sure many people are familiar with situations like this, I for one am sick to death of some peoples attitudes.
I'm a hologrinder, I admit...but I started as a crafter...weaponsmith actually...so I can sympathize with anyone who's gone through the artisan classes on how tough it can be....
so in my desperate pursuit for the holy elusive FSCS, i've come full circle back to the artisan classes....and i'm doing my grinding thing..already burned through Chef and Tailor, and I'm working on Merchant and Droid Engineer....and I'm wearing my spiffy cool little Master Tailor title..cuz I'm proud when I grind through a profession...I like that little sense of accomplishment when I ding and can wear that cool "Master" title...
so like i said, i'm wearing my Master Tailor title, grinding out MSE droids for DE....sitting on the "Grinding Steps" in Amyrlin, since that's where all the grinders sit, right in front of the shuttleport...fun stuff...
I'm grinding...grind grind grind...reading this thread, laughing my tush off....
and a doctor runs by.....doctor of all people...doctors make tons of money and get swamped by people needing buffs right?....
so what happens?...
"ALL 6 BUFFS 9K INSIDE CANTINA PLEASE REMOVE ARMOR AND HEAL BF FIRST IF POSSIBLE" 'peon' shouts...
and i think...oh hey cool...a little bit more traffic coming through the place...rock on...we like traffic here...we're a commercial community....the city is funded by a guild of crafters and entertainers....so we like seeing new customers roll through....
next thing I know....
to *me* no less......the grinder...sitting on the steps wearing a duster, random clothes, and *NO* weapon at all....with the Master Tailor title up top....
"would you have 10k i could have" 'peon' says
'peon' says "i will buff you"
......
yeah hold on a sec....grinding out all those professions requires *tons* of buffs....yeah let me whip out my bank card here and get you that money....
*shuffles off to pick up that crate of C12 grenades for target practice*
